HIGH IS I AM VERY EXCITED BUT THE LOWS ITS A TENDIOUS PROCESS OVERALL MY COUNSELOR IS WONDERFUL VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND PATIENCE, UNDERSTANDING ALWAYS WILLING TO ANSWER QUESTIONS. I WOULD RECOMMEND NACA TO FAMILY AND FRIENDS

Already in a home, but I know that in due time I will be in my home because I have Mrs. Page and she is a great counselor I wish I had her in the beginning of this journey! She definitely brought the pressure and the peace and I'm so grateful to have her. Thank You Mrs. Page!

May 25,2023NACA has amazing benefits, but it takes an incredible amount of patience. I've been in the program for years now and it takes a lot of commitment and hard work. The Housing Counselors are great and will walk you through all necessary steps

May 25,2023I am currently going through the qualification process to purchase property. I have known about the program for years and have family that has purchased through NACA program. I feel that it is a great program and have been impressed with my counselor as he is knowledgeable, pleasant to work with and is concerned to encourage me to continue preparing by submitting requirement documentation in a timely manner to move to the next steps to homeownership. This program meets the needs of those in a wide category of circumstances with outstanding terms. I have no complaints.

May 24,2023"Slow and steady wins the race". I first heard about NACA on SiriusXM about a year. Having gathered up information on how NACA operates, and what my expectations and obligations would be (quite clear and concise), I went to their website and scheduled myself to participate in the mandatory counseling session. Once approved, I received my member ID and began the journey to homeownership. One of the best attributes I've found with NACA is the documentation that you need to become approved-extensive but very necessary-comprehensive and mandatory. Also, the difference between your current housing payment and what's called "shock payments" - required to set-aside as you travel through the pre-approval/home busing process so that when you purchase your home, you're confident and have proven that you can make the payments required. Home buying and ownership is a very serious venture-the biggest purchase of your life; NACA walks you all the way through the process, from the beginning, and you have an Advocate in NACA from onset - you're in a partnership, an alliance that has your best and vested interested always in plain and plan view.

May 23,2023The journey with NACA has been a good experience; I kind of wish I knew about NACA years ago; But hey I'm excited from what I learned so far and ready for the journey to purchase my new property; My counselor Sharon has been very helpful and supportive; I agree, The NACA Program provides a Member Portal, which is the infrastructure of the entire home buying process. It isn’t an effortless process, but it is very feasible and achievable.

May 23,2023My overall experience has been great! I managed to plan ahead in submitting all the necessary documents to start the process to allow for my intake officer to review and create an action plan, in order to get me all the way ready for home ownership. Simply put, preparation and providing complete and accurate information is key and also understanding that you may not be ready for approval on your initial intake, but that the officer will provide you with all the information and tools necessary, in order to get you to where you need to be. My assigned officer was very professional, she was on time and walked me through the steps on what to expect. I am confident in that I will be ready before the allotted time for our next appointment. Thank you NACA team!!! You make our dreams become a reality and team work is what makes the dream actually become even more of reality in watching everything unfold right before your eyes.

Every time I send him a email he will reply and tell me everything I need to update in my Naca portal. Than you so much for all you do to help those people that don’t have a down payment to buy a house.

May 22,2023I like everything except for when you download information, you have then have to re-enter your information manually. I am at the beginning of the process so I still have not completed anything after the initial interview. My initial date was a month out but they have been able to get me in earlier each time. My counselor is positive and helpful. So far it seems easy enough and I hope it helps with my homebuying process.

My counselor has been very helpful with informing my husband and I with the documents and information we’d need to get the process completed. May 18,2023NACA FIRST TIME HOMEBUYER’S PROGRAM FEEDBACK Purchasing and owning your home is a dream that many people have, yet they fear the actual accomplishment. There are so many of us that find the process to be intimidating and unattainable. Home ownership is an ambition I believe we’re all born with and start planning for as young children. When I grow up, I’m going to have a big, huge house with a whole lot of rooms for all my friends, all my family, and all my toys! As we grow older, not a lot changes; except the reality of what it takes to achieve it. For some, the path may already be decided; others have guidance and assistance along the way. Then, there are those who lack resources and without programs like NACA, would otherwise miss their opportunities. I am one of those who can attest to lacking both the knowledge and the resources; yet the NACA Program has been both a source and means to make my dream a reality! The workshop is both informative and inspiring; the initial counseling is both actualizing and fulfilling; and the Action Plan is both realistic and attainable. There’s an initial workshop that is required in order to become a participant in the NACA Program. The workshop that I attended was approximately a 3-hour session held on a Saturday, with about 100 attendees! The workshop I attended was in 2019, or what I now describe as, Pre-Pandemic. There’s a lot of information that is shared within these workshops, including testimonies from successful recipients. Although I could give examples, I don’t think it would give justification and is worth it to experience it! Life Happens, so then we fast forward to Post Pandemic, and current times, which leads me to the process required to schedule your initial counseling appointment. The NACA Program provides a Member Portal, which is the infrastructure of the entire home buying process. It isn’t an effortless process, but it is very feasible and achievable! The Action Plan is where I’m currently located in the process. Everything required of me in order to advance to the second counseling appointment has been laid out, and to make it plain and simple, the Ball is Now in My Court!! I am fully committed to doing what is required of me in order to proceed to the next stage of the program. From a young girl with big hopes and dreams, the NACA Program has turned my hopes and dreams into attainable goals and realities! It’s Working For Me, Why Not You?!!!?

May 14,2023My experience so far with the Naca team has been a great one. My mortgage counselor has been very supportive during this process. She makes sure I understand what's going on each meeting and she makes sure I have everything I need to prepare for the next meeting. The company is fighting for poverty and equal rights and it's great to be a part of.

I heard and read a lot of excellent comments and can’t wait to write one and share my experience with others when the journey comes to the end. The process requires patience, discipline and a sense of order. My wife and I are happy to be working with Carol, a diligent, steady and experienced counselor, who is assisting us in a professional way that has encouraged us to continue the process. It is our expectation that we will see the end soon and become one of the families NACA will have helped buy their house with a loan at a lower interest rate, with no down payment, no closing fees and no PMI.

May 09,2023NACA fed me and my family a lot of dreams that they weren't in the business of fulfilling. I've been in the military for almost 19 years. They were aware of my retirement date from the beginning. They waited until me and my wife completed everything on our end before they decided that they couldn't help us because I retire in a year. I stated that if I were a civilian I wouldn't have to go through this and they agreed. Now, my family and I wasted months dealing with NACA just to be put in a whole of not being able to go anywhere else due to having less than a year left on my contract. If this would've been stated in the beginning, we could've went elsewhere and been in a home by now... But, I'm just one man and my family is just one family. Our voice is not loud enough to get help from NACA. To anyone that decides to deal with NACA, please ve aware of every guideline.
