Apr 13,2023I called NACA at 425-602-6222 for information on how to volunteer/register for event and workshops and spoke with Ms. Ellen P. She was a WEALTH of information!!! Wow! NACA should be grateful to have her! She should be the NACA mascot! Thank you Ms. Ellen clarifying the muddy waters of volunteering for me! YOU’RE AWESOME

Apr 07,2023I called customer service for questions about the member portal. She took the time to explain everything that I had issues with. She was extremely nice and wasn’t rushing to get me off the phone. I was able to think. She also looked over my file to see if there were any discrepancies, and discussed it with me.

Apr 07,2023The NACA process has changed my life for the better. Not only has my counselor been super helpful and open and honest with me, she has helped me change my mindset, which has affected other aspects in my life in an incredibly positive way. I started the process in July of 2022 and am quickly nearing my qualification date. The greatest thing about this program, is it is extremely self motivating and self driven. The program and counselors are there to give all of the necessary information, and tools needed to successfully qualify individuals for buying a home, but most importantly the program teaches you to hold yourself accountable. I can't say enough good things about my experience, and have recommended it to those around me that want to positively impact their lives in a meaningful way.

Apr 05,2023I was not planning on buying a house as I felt unprepared, Naca has given me the guidance and prepared me to start the home buying process. When they ask me why I haven’t gotten the house yet I explain I am in the neighborhood program that will assist me. I would be the first one of my generation to get a home and this makes me feel so proud. People in Laredo are not very much aware of this program and I wish they all knew all the benefits this program has. From no closing costs to a better interest rate.

Apr 01,2023Definitivamente Naca es la mejor opción para obtener casa, el asesor Clarke, ha sido excelente en nuestra sesión de asesoramiento nos indicó pasó pasó lo que teníamos que hacer para acelerar el proseso, claro es un proceso que tarda un poco pero vale la pena, se preocupan por que tengamos un hogar asequible y eso es lo importante, mil gracias Naca por todo, se qué muy pronto tendré mi casa, lo recomiendo muchísimo no existe pedir programa que Naca para obtener un hogar digno para tu familia.

Apr 01,2023Our counselor is great. She is extremely knowledgeable and willing to help in many more ways than we would have thought. It is actually harder to assemble some of the paperwork required to fulfill all of the requirements. However, we have been assured that in the end, it will be worth the effort. I will say that it is disappointing to know that so many people before us took undue advantage of the program, now it is more difficult for us to gain the full benefit even though this will be our first house. Additionally, New York is just so expensive. Being a part of an underserved community, I will continue to pursue this program down to the end.

Mar 26,2023I have been working to get approved for a NACA mortgage for over a year. The process has been somewhat slow and difficult because I have had to stop and start again due to the fact I had to move in the middle of it. The NACA intake has been really time consuming and it requires a lot of details, but I understand it is all with the best intentions in mind. I have been assured by people who have gone through it that it is worth all the effort. I'm letting all the good reviews that I've read motivate me and I am looking forward to completing everything as soon as possible. My counselor has been really friendly and patient and I'm very thankful for that while I navigate this home ownership process.

Mar 22,2023With how everything in the world has been i thought home ownership was out of the question. I heard about NACA online and was very curious and had doubts (No closing costs, below market interest rates, no PMI ect.) but decided to sign up and see what was going on. So far i've gone through some of their program and they're legit! They have a portal that you can upload documents to so that you can find out how much you can afford, and it's much easier than using pen and paper. It's kind of like Mint! With that you can find the healthy total you can afford to spend, because the number one thing they want is for you to be able to afford it. I've learned so much in such a short amount of time with them and can't wait to finish! Just keep in mind the process is only as fast as you make it, so if you have all your information ready you'll be good to go!

Rochelle Montgomery & Latisha Greene and all the rest of the staff at that neck office and whoever I spoke to other than them through the macro process they were all wonderful caring very helpful that everything they can to make it all happen for us which they did and I'm ever so grateful John Curley and zeida frisher naca ID 2376590 it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely refer anybody who's looking to go through a non-profit organization for first home buyers definitely goes through NACA you will have a very good experience once again thank you so much Naca we truly appreciate it.

Mar 12,2023I'm currently going through the process and it is a lot of work that you have to put in but I understand that this is a major purchase. My counselor is doing an amazing job trying to keep me on track and explaining each step of the process. Hopefully I will be approved soon!
