Dec 16,2022I was told when I applied for the loan I can chose to pay however I want. Once a month, biweekly, weekly. They did not care as long at they got their payment. So I took my mortgage payment and devided by 4. I sent the same amount every Monday. They started to call and harass me that they didn't have my full payment by the 1st. Only mortgage company ever with zero grace period for payments. They would call if that last payment was 1 day late. Then somewhere along the lines they were not applying my funds correctly and I somehow ended up like 500 bucks short from a complete payment come the first. This has happened a couple if times now. I religiously pay them yet I am getting calls almost every single day to harass me about it. Worst company ever. Never again.

Nov 28,2022New American Funding. VIK fAULKNER tried to sell his funding to a family that I performed a home inspection for. They OVERCHARGED the couple to the point that they were going to lose the house purchase. Luckily with the buyer's realtor's help ,she found them another lender and saved the buyers many thousands of dollars to where they were able to SAVE the home purchase and lower their monthly payment and closing costs tremendously !!! He overcharged them in fees, etc, then tried to blame the fiasco on the customers.....I would not use this guy.....DO YOUR HOMEWORK AND SHOP AROUND !!! I hope that this review is not removed .....

Nov 04,2022What a joke. I’m an underwriter, so I understand expectations and timeliness. This company mismanaged the entirety of the process. Incorrect Appraisals, Incorrect person’s information mixed into my file, missed deadlines, lack of correspondence, etc. The list goes on and on (for 2 over months). Don’t waste your time! This company has poor business practices, terrible communication, awful organizational ability, and overall misleading. We went with another lender who had their act together within a week. Do yourself a favor. Pass on NAF Inc. Truly a garbage company.

Oct 31,2022I wish we could have had the pleasant experience like everyone else but unfortunately we had an unpleasant experience. We were given a list of documents to provide to the company which is standard after providing all these documents we were informed halfway through the process to provide more documents, which we did. On the expected timeframe we were given to close on our house we were told it had been delayed due to more needed documents. Mind you we had to initiate 90% of the conversations to find out where we were at during the process. After we decided to longer go with this company, they failed to inform us to notify all the previous insurance companies we were not making any changes causing our house insurance to be suspended that we were unaware until I received notification in the mail on a weekend when the office is closed. Calling them is out of the question because you’re lucky to get someone who knows what’s going on. Then you spend extra money on house improvements you were told to make to better your chances for the mortgage only to be told they are no longer doing it. The house appraiser they use does not adequately appraise for what your house is worth. The appraiser did not use correct similar houses to our size and years. Spent $600 on an appraisal that was worthless. Best to stick with your bank locally where you have a good relationship with. Our process went from 45 days to almost 60 days!

Dec 16,2022My house has been under contract for six months! NAFunding has asked for endless documents, but the worst is that now they are not returning phone calls or emails. Repeatedly the contact person has said, "I'll have 'clear to close' by this afternoon,' and has not followed through. They have held up the equity in my house for six months with no end in sight. Don't ever use this group!
