He was able to break down explaining financial terms and processes. Very very easy to talk to. Some things were out of their control (funding times). Could have more followup calls imo :D

Oct 01,2024Overall I still would rate NAF 5 stars. Our loan officer Patrick Kirk did an amazing job with quick, knowledgeable responses. regardless of the time of day, I could count on getting a quick response to make sure I knew what I needed to do and what those actions actually meant. Our closing agent Stephanie Minjares was a bit of a struggle. Her initial introduction noted she would be our primary contact while moving through the end game of our home buying experience. Simply put, she was a struggle to communicate with. she would send emails at odd hours, sometimes even as late as 11P.M. If I needed clarification on certain documents she'd send, she was not quick to respond, sometimes taking up to 2 days to email me back. This glaring gap in response time lead to me communicating with our loan officer, Mr. Kirk, to try and understand these documents. Mr. Kirk still responded in a prompt manner and made sure we understood the documents we needed to sign/present, as well as when we needed to take action. He really stepped up to make sure we were prepared for the purchase of our first house. In the end, closing was smooth, quick, and simple. I look forward to doing business with Mr. Kirk, and NAF in the future.

She dealt with the contractor, took charge in handling the lien on our property and made sure we have the proper paperwork on file. David, our loan consultant, our mortgage go-to. He was in constant communication with us, provides updates, and very informative. Both are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. They make a great team. We are so thankful.
