Zero Communication!! I placed an order for a generator and it said around 1-14 day lead time from the warehouse. Not bad all things considered. But when I turned in a simple request about refunding state sales tax for a tax free weekend event in Texas, I didn’t get a response. 1 week later I sent another message. No response. 2 weeks after that I sent another message and a status update on shipping. Nothing. 3 messages sent to the company with zero reply.
I purchased this generator for a privative camping car event at a drag strip. It never missed a beat! We followed the instructions and changed the oil as advised. Great running time with minimal fuel usage. Timer changes based on the amount of load on the unit, which is super useful. Received a ton of compliments!
The online service was easy to use and helpful information on what I needed. Have not been able to get any shipping information and when I would get my purchase. If not for that u would have a 5 star rating
While purchasing our ONAN P4500i, Norwall was always helpful and accommodating. Once we received the shipment, the hassle started. The package arrived in good shape, no damage or challenge. I opened the box and hauled the generator out. Inside of the plastic wrap, the generator was covered in random places with oil. I cleaned the oil and proceeded to PDI the unit. Read every page of the manual to make sure I didn’t void any warranty. I went to fill the crankcase with oil, only to find that the oil fill was cross-threaded. Fixed it. Filled to specs with oil, fresh gasoline, installed charged battery, and went to crank it to start. Needless to say, it wouldn’t fire up. Pulled off side covers to inspect. Side cover screws were loose, Air filter was loose. Discovered that the Automatic choke doesn’t work, fuel gauge doesn’t work, hour meter inoperative. Called Norwall and was treated like crap. The lady I spoke with had only one, repetitive statement - “you accepted the package, now it’s yours” - when I asked about any replacement or exchange, she said “you should not have accepted the package if it wasn’t going to run”... SERIOUSLY!? She told me that I would have to contact the local service center and have them work on it. The local ONAN service center is 3 months out on repairs and said “it probably isn’t warranty if you bought it from Norwall. Needless to say, DO NOT purchase from this company as they DO NOT care about the customer once they get your money. The best part of being a campground host around the USA is that I get to meet a large number of campers and I’ll be sure to share my Norwall experiences with them.
When you say free shipping then say because of where I live you have to charge $150.00 extra, which no other co has ever done, very suspicious, don’t you think. That’s why I canceled my order.

Placed my order over 2 weeks ago and still shows “processing”. No follow up explaining the delay, and still waiting on my order!

The ad reads free shipping. Several days after my order was placed I was notified there was an additional 175 in shipping since I lived in a high rate area. Almost canceled but decided to duck it up
Had to cancel order. I live overseas and have a US address that is a mail forwarding business. Probably my fault, but in my order comments I stated that the address had to be exactly as I wrote it to ensure the forwarding service sends it to correct location. I was then emailed saying since I was using a "freight forwarder" credit card purchase would not be accepted, apparently due to fraud concerns and a wire transfer would be necessary. Wasn't going to spend $30 on wire transfers for a $160 order. Seems there was no way for the nice lady I was emailing me to deviate from this policy so I cancelled the order and bought for the same price from Amazon. I really don't like buying from Amazon but in this case I wasn't going to pay for a wire transfer.
If you use a po box for your billing address, they can't process payments.
I had no idea that delivery woud be 20-25 weeks away with the billing emediate.

Great company great service
When ordering online, the order page gives you the option to pay with a savings account. However, two days later I received an email stating that there was a problem with my payment and that I had to call customer service during their business hours. I was then informed that they do not accept savings accounts as payment that I would have to send a canceled check anyway. This wasted precious days in an already lengthy 14 week waiting period.
I can't give a good or bad review yet. It has been 3 week from date of order. All I can say is they have not did anything for or about my order. Even my funds have not been placed on my card yet. So ask me again in 5 weeks that's when they say it will be shipped. Ok time to update. Ordered this mis April have not heard a word from this company. So if I ever receive my order it will be the last. I'll build me a wind mill in my yard before I try this again.
Great experience. I have bought several and what I like is that the process is always boring and straight forward, and works well. Just the way I like it, no surprised.

Purchased a $3600 generator, and it said 1-8 weeks for delivery. After 11 full weeks, they had not contacted me, given me a status update or anything. When I cancelled my order, they said that I would get my refund right away, but it's been ~10 days, and they still haven't refunded my money. I've had to repeatedly call support trying to get hold of someone who can give me a status of my refund. They apparently have very few customer service folks. Would not purchase from them again.

May 19,2021I was surprised to see the generator I purchased was in stock and ready to ship in two weeks. Everyone else was saying that they were 20 weeks out. I am pleased with my experience and will recommend Norwall to everyone that asks.
