Oct 23,2024Intrusive, incessant and predatory sales practices... I have never consented to being contacted by them and even my phone knows to hide the call when they repeatedly call me on a private number and then leave voicemails pushing me to check out what is in my basket - I wouldn't buy anything from them now even if they had cheap Oasis tickets! They only have my phone number because I put in my details at checkout but decided not to complete the sale and I am glad I did not buy from them now. I just went through the process again to see how they got my number and see an 'opt out' tick box for marketing contact (which actually only mentions emails so I still don't know why they think they have consent to call me) at the start of the checkout process - these are supposed to be OPT IN now so they are definitely in contravention of GDPR laws one way or another.

Oct 23,2024Furniture quality is excelllent and I think great value for money. Solid oak with a beautiful finish. Only assembly required was adding the handles. To top it off, well protected in packaging and excellent delivery service from BJS.

Oct 23,2024Ordered the Buxton 180cm extending dining room table with 8 chairs. From ordering to delivery I recieved an excellent service. Pre delivery comunications were prompt and clear (delivery was within 1 week of placing the order) The delivery team called ahead to let me know what time to expect them and were very helpful brining in the table and chairs. They noticed a tear in the box which had been taped over and immediately called the depot to inform them, the depot informed me that this had been recorded and if after unpacking i noticed any damge to the table they would rectify the issue. Thankfully the table was in perfect condition on unpacking. The assembly of the table was straight forward and the chairs were already assembled and had protective covers on. I like the build quality of both the table and chairs. All in all a quality product with great service at a reasonable price.

The 2 men who delivered & set up the table were nothing but professional, very respectful of my home and polite. The items were extremely well packaged. I could not be happier and would definitely recommend this company.

Oct 22,2024The website advertizes 'high-quality 100% solid oak, no veneer, MDF or chipboard'. While that is true, customers should be aware that the furniture consists of numerous small pieces or off-cuts of natural oak glued together, planed, sanded, and varnished. We ordered an Extending Olympia 180cm Solid Oak Dining Table with X Back Chairs. The furniture looks good, is extremely heavy and chunky, but it is disappointing that it is all very visibly (when it is in your kitchen, not on the website) a composite of small elements. Take the X-back chairs: even the individual parts, such as a single stile, are made up of several small pieces stuck together (very visibly, because the grain is different). Our old pine furniture, which we have now disposed of, was not so constructed.

I had been looking for ages for a small cabinet for our lounge and stumbled across this web site and found what I was looking for, I had to wait a few weeks for the items ordered but it was well worth it as it’s really lovely and I extremely pleased, would definitely use again and recommend.

Oct 19,2024I was a little worried about purchasing without seeing the product, but I needn't have worried, the dining set & sideboard we ordered is beautiful, very well made. We were informed delivery could be 2-4 weeks & it turned out to be eleven days! ...fantastic! We were also kept well informed on delivery times & the guys that delivered were great very polite. Really can't fault this company whatsoever & will certainly use them in the future
