Ocean Estate Agents have been selling Bristol homes of all shapes and sizes – large and small, grand ¬and modest, smart and not so smart… for all kinds of people since 1984.
Founder Paul Harris started the business over 40 years ago with Ocean Bishopston on Gloucester Road, and there are now 12 local offices across the city including one in Portishead and Weston super Mare.
Their ethos is very much ‘people before property’, with the emphasis on looking after the individuals and families buying or selling their homes, to make what is often a challenging experience, as worry-free as possible.
Ocean’s teams, reflect the culturally rich communities of this wonderful city, spanning a diverse mix of ages and backgrounds from across Bristol.
It is also very much a family business. Many of the team have grown up and started their own families whilst working for Ocean – they even have some second generation ‘Oceaners’ now working for the company.

Honestly, as a tenant and professional, clear communication is everything, and Jack nails it every time. It’s been so easy working with him, and he’s made the whole process a breeze! Chantelle and Scott have also been super helpful, making the whole experience feel seamless. Can’t wait to move in this November! The software used by both parties were also very good. We knew about viewings, times, dates, clients & 2nd viewings. But the staff also kept us informed. We felt they listened to us. They were knowledgeable and patient. The legal side also Has a good software that we could log into To keep up with the status of the proceedings. Clare Was also very patient knowledgeable and understanding. Selling your property is never 'plain sailing' but the 'Ocean' team made it as painless as possible. Thanks to Paul ,Demi & Clare .
