Jun 20,2024We had a family reunion in Portugal and stayed in this incredible house. The views are breathtaking and there is so much room in the house. Great outdoor space and well stocked kitchen. Great for big group dinners and family time.

Jun 20,2024the accomodation was excellant and the salt pool one of the best we have ever had ,we loved picking the cherries for the yogert in the morning and the area was central for the wine tasting and food we went for. Only 3 items of constructive criticism , the electrical sockets in the villa were not eu std , they had 3 small pins and not 2 pins for the usual euro plugs and would not fit so more converters would have been useful for all the gadgets, some a/c for the bed area as the stone walls radiate the heat at night and the nature of the buildings are stone and very thick . The last was the cost of the cleaning at 150 euro paid when we arrived which i feel should have been included in the headline costs

Jun 19,2024Concierge service was very helpful on a range of things such as providing a welcome food package based on our requests and supplying more hairdryers/wine glasses on request. Transfer service recommended on website was more expensive & vehicle not as good as transfer provided by another company taken by another member of our group- we changed our return transfer based on this. Better details of what’s in the area ie. Local restaurants, takeaways/delivery food, taxi info, tourist attractions would have been really helpful. Other villas we’ve stayed in all have this.

Jun 19,2024Lovely clean Villa . The gardens and pool are just fabulous we spent most of our week in and around the pool . Lovely fresh lemons on trees . 20 minutes walk to centre good range of restaurants and nice beach . Well equipped Villa only thing we could have done with was an oven glove but not a major thing . Beds comfy would have been nice to have a mid week bed change when the towels got changed Horse stables directly behind Villa so beware you will hear and smell horses also lots of stray cats and kittens about .

Jun 19,2024We have just had a fabulous week at Villa Bonita in Son Bou, Non of our party particularly liked Son Bou as a resort, but the Villa made up for it. The villa is very well maintained and extremely well appointed The views are wonderful. There is ample space and the pool was lovely. Pool and beach toys were provided. My only critisisms would be the oven door is dangerous and caused an injury, I think as the villa is so well appointed the provision of 1 high chair & 1 cot is needed without extra fees needing to be paid. We were provided with 10ths of washing up liquid and that was not refilled on the cleaning day! This is a very mean practice ….. these issues aside a lovely villa for a multigenerational family holiday

Jun 19,2024Very easy to book accommodation and they will hold it for you for 48hrs should you need to check dates with other people in your party. I did have a little issue but Aythami in the customer relations dept helped out very professional and sorted to my satisfaction. I Would as it stands so far book again with this company.

Jun 18,2024I can only speak on my booking experience since I have not left for the location yet but my booking expereince was fantastic. I worked with Evie Carrington who is the wedding and events planner to book my wedding in italy for next year. I was impressed with her extensive level of knowledge about the location. It seems as if oliver's Travels has developed a good relationship with the owners of our destination which leads me to believe they are a great company. Evie took her time to break down all of my questions and ensure they were answered (and boy did I have a lot). She repsonded with kindness and compassion. It is intimidating to book a destination wedding and she made me feel very comfortable in making this decision. I am glad she was the one I got to work with and look forward to our communications between now and our event date.

She was clear, helpful, informative - and many other positive things besides! I know what good customer service looks like - and this was definitely it. No hesitation recommending. We will be back!

Jun 17,2024I like the action of Attara to use the concierge service to update extras and available local services that could answer the client's request when the service is not directly provided by this service or myself. Eg fridge service, a good hamper, shops opened at walking distance could somehow answer their concern. As well if Chef Service is not availble in the area or for the requested dates a catering service or a take away menu provided at walking could be helpful.

Beatrice and Lucinda were our most frequent liaison with Oliver's travel team. They respond quickly, they respond efficiently, they are always so polite and enthusiastic about anything we or their guests need. They always inform us about news and opportunities, as well as about new ways in which we can contribute together to ensure that our joint guests have a dream vacation!

Jun 15,2024Stayed at Villa Old Town Hvar in May 2024. Could not fault the villa, perfect for our group of 4 couples celebrating our 30th in a beautiful countryside location. Whilst remote, we loved the nearby town of Vrboska which we could cycle to within 30 minutes. Hvar town was only a 40 minute taxi, and cost roughly 50 Euros each way for the 8 of us. Host of the villa was helpful via whatsapp with any questions we had during our stay including recommending taxi services. No need to pay for pool heating, lovely and warm despite early season. 1 star lost for Oliver's Travels as the managing company of this villa. We enquired with their concierge team back in February for a private chef service, unfortunately after a number of calls to chase, we received no communication from the concierge team member handling the request. In addition, the bicycles were advertised as included at the villa when we booked, however, this was then updated with a fee of 10euro per bike, per day. I raised this with one of their customer service teams, and granted, they honored these free of charge. But had I not kept my previous booking records and queried this, we were likely to have had to pay for these. Would highly recommend the villa, with or without car hire. And would love to return in the future.

The concierge service provided by Andrea was also fantastic - he was responsive and helpful with anything that we needed throughout our stay. The kitchen is one of the most well-stocked kitchens of any rental we've stayed in. Everything you need! One note of feedback: The beds/mattresses are extremely hard. A mattress topper (like memory foam) would go a long way to make them more comfortable.

Jun 14,2024I unfortunately had an accident just before we were due to go on holiday and was unable to fly. Chiara has been amazing with both phone calls and emails to me . I was terribly upset and unable to physically move much due to my leg being in a full leg brace . Chiara managed to defer my holiday to September when I should be out of my brace and was in regular communication with me throughout . A potential ruined holiday has now been turned into something to look forward to and work towards in September I recommend Oliver’s travels to anyone wanting that personal touch when booking a holiday. Jun 20,2024Saint Surin - June 2024 The caretaker of the property “Ian” was incredibly helpful and friendly, nothing was to too much to ask. On arrival we were greeted with a cup of tea and a welcome basket of food and drink, with an extensive tour of the property. It’s a beautiful property in amazing grounds basically nothing to not like -however the cooker doesn’t work as per the reviews we saw from 2 years ago! The electrics are somewhat off the mark! When it rained they constantly tripped out, it overloaded if kettle and lights were on, on a dry day! The roof leaked - but it is an old building so it must be a constant maintenance project. It really is a beautiful place and we made it work for our holiday but updates are required by professional tradespeople.
