Jul 18,2024We had a great week in NW Sicily! The villa was fantastic with lots of functional outside space. Days at the poolside, days on the nearby beach and some amazing boat trips. Lovely food and wine and friendly helpful people.

Jul 18,2024Literally cannot sing the praises of these guys enough. Blown away by the professionalism, the care, the efficient and the quality of the offerings. Emma Tillman was our travel consultant and she went above and beyond on several occasions to ensure we ended up with the holiday we wanted and could have. She was always super helpful, so patient and so understanding (whilst shoot dates for a film were in flex). I will definitely be returning as a customer next year for certain sure. Just utterly brilliant on every level. Thank you SO much.

Jul 14,2024I had the responsibility for organizing a family holiday for 17, three generations; it was a great success and Oliver's Travels, in the person of Atarra, played an important role; she was so helpful and cooperative, no detail was too small to help with. Into the bargain the house, Tarbert Country Manor, was wonderful: full of books and beautiful things. It really was a dream holiday.

Jul 14,2024***EDIT I THINK TO BOOK THROUGH A UK TRAVEL AGENT AND THEN TO ARRIVE AT THE HOUSE AND BE PRESENTED WITH A 10 OR 12 PAGE DOCUMENT WRITTEN IN ITALIA AND IS TOTALLY MISLEADING AND TO PRETEND OTHERWISE IS NOT BEING GENUINE. YOU HAVE NO OPTION BUT TO SIGN SOMETHING IN A FOREIGN LANGUAGE THAT YOU HAVE ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA WHAT IT IS THAT YOU ARE SIGNING UP TO. FURTHERMORE I ALREADY PAID THE $250 EURO CLEANING FEE WHEN I ARRIVED SO TO THEN BE TOLD THAT IF MY BINS ARE WRONG I'M GOING TO BE CHARGED €100 LIKE THAT IS SOMEHOW REASONABLE IS PREPOSTEROUS. WHAT'S REASONABLE ABOUT SUGGESTING THAT SOMETHING THAT WOULD TAKE A CLEANER 30 MINUTES TO RESOLVE IS WORTH 100 EUROS???** It was a very average stay and as per the other reviews it's important to be aware that you are not in any relationship with Oliver's, they are simply taking your money and passing it on to the owner / next tier management. In our case there was Oliver's / a large Puglia property company with over 100 properties / the owner. This is also why they change the names of the property (you will find out when you get your pack a few weeks before travel that they use pseudonyms as the names then you get given the real property name. When you arrive you are given a huge contract in Italian, that you have to sign, it literally could be anything. In our case the WiFi was appalling, non existent after 9pm. That's fine if you're honest about it, we are busy executives and couldn't work. We could even plan the next day. Our 2 teenagers was somewhat devastated. There local owners are proverbial mockers of the UK holidaymaker. On the last day we got a message to say if we didn't put the bins out we would be charged 100 EUROS!!! This is after paying 250 euros to clean the place. It's very dated and reminded me of when I was much younger going on cheap holidays. Oliver's simply add such little value to the experience, simply masking up already available properties with alternative names

Jul 13,2024The website is descriptive of the properties, well organized, and easy to navigate. Our consultant, Adelaide, was helpful and responded very promptly to our enquiries. Booking was easy and the check-in instructions (and information on surrounding shops, etc.) were useful.

Jul 13,2024Having discovered Olivers Travels online, the choice of quality Villa holidays was extensive, both in locations and prices. Each Villa was finitely detailed, providing most, if not all, of the information required to make your choice as easy as possible. Once chosen, booking was also simple, using a step by step process. I did make a basic error, having submitted the completed booking application, I immediately received an email congratulating me on my choice and advising me not to complete my flight arrangements until confirmation of the booking had been received from the actual owners of the Villa. My error was to read, “Congratulations”, ignore the remainder of the email and to immediately complete, confirm and pay for our flights!!! After all that I then read the entire Olivers Travels email with thoughts of concern, and ‘what ifs’ building up, after all, no one wants to add unnecessary costs to their holiday. Within 10 minutes of submitting our Villa request, I received a phone call from Olivers Travels, a very nice and helpful lady called Chiara, who confirmed that the owners had accepted our booking, thanked us for using Olivers Travels, answered a couple of questions that we raised and advised us that if we had any further questions she would be on hand to assist. Overall, a very easy, simple process supported by friendly professional personnel. Thank you.

Jul 13,2024Apartment in Venice, Gabriella was great. The local staff were very helpful. On arrival we were dropped off from a water taxi some distance from the apartment, so we arranged for a porter to assist when we needed to get a water taxi to the airport. We were told the taxi would pick us up at the same spot. In fact the taxi was changed and picked us up almost at the apartment. So we paid 80 euros essentially for nothing.

Jul 12,2024Donatello was super attentive and helpful and really looked after us and went the extra mile to ensure we found the property okay and had everything we needed. The house was lovely and perfect for our needs and very close to lots of pretty, small towns easy to park in and with lovely restaurants and cafes. Only small complaints were the internet didn’t work brilliantly or phone reception, which made it harder for us, as we were using this as a quiet base for getting business done. This would be less of a problem for those on holiday. The shower head in one bathroom needs replacing as it rather dribbled out and was cracked. The water doesn’t smell great, so you don’t tend to feel clean after a shower! I gather this is because it's water from a well or similar and so can’t be helped. All in all it was a lovely spot and we had a good time.

Jul 12,2024Fantastic trip to Villa Meghali. Oliver’s Travels were really helpful in organising extras, trips, restaurants before we went via Ann Jacques who was very patient and responded so quickly. The Villa Manager when we were there was fantastic, organised taxis, restaurants etc. This was one of the very best holidays we’ve had in a beautiful Villa. Thank you so much.

Jul 11,2024Our villa was just as described. The host contact was promptly there to greet us and help take our lugguge up the steep driveway since our van could not get up to the house. The house was clean and the pre-ordered groceries were there. The driveway was very steep and hard for taxis to get to us. So we walked more than anticipated. We loved the pool and outdoor ping pong table as well as the large outdoor dining table. The view was also great!

Jul 11,2024The booking experience was relatively easy and the information supplied prior to our holiday was comprehensive. Seems to have been good value too. However, we have not been given the option to provide feedback on the villa itself - that would be useful. Nor any comment from the Oliver travels team regarding the fact that we were broken into whilst there (the local 'partner' villas team abroad were informed at the time)

The villa was absolutely outstanding and the correspondence from Oliver’s travels leading up to our holiday was fantastic. Already planning a villa holiday next year and will definitely be booking through them again.
