Constance Manceau worked very hard to find us the perfect villa on lake como to celebrate our 60th anniversary with our family. Unfortunately my husband became seriously ill and we had to cancel. She is working with the owners to see about a refund under the circumstances. We r hoping my husbands health will allow us to work with her again. She is very professional. Shirley

Lovely location and house spoilt only by very limited wifi which is hugely inconvenient in this day and age particularly if you want to work.

I rented the Villa for my clients, a family of 8 from NY who spent the week visiting the Northern part of Sardinia. The Villa is perfectly located, close to local amenities yet immerse in the quiet nature...and the view is just spectacular. The villa's interior is well maintained, with beautiful marble floors and wooden furniture. You can feel that it's a house kept with love. I was also fortunate to discover that the Villa's owner is a local tour guide, she accompanied my clients through the whole week to discover the best excursion, hidden beaches, local restaurants etc. We hired a local chef to cook home-made delicious food for the family. The owners were always at their total disposal to ensure the clients were having the best experience. Overall, a wonderful experience from start to finish. Grazie!

Underwhelmed by the experience. No welcome pack when we arrived which makes a big impression especially when travelling far and can’t check in until 6pm. A few other issues we encountered which wasn’t impressed about. Customer service was responsive but not overly impressed with outcome. I’m also aware that my 3 star review I submitted on their site hasn’t been displayed so I’m guessing they cherry pick the best ones. I did wonder why there were only a handful of 5 star reviews spanning a period of 10 years.

We truly had the best time! The villa was on another level, 3 times bigger than it looked on photos. Location was perfect and the villa had everything we needed plus more. We are planning to return later in the year! Thank you Oliver’s Travels for a brilliant holiday 🌟

1. TV. Dislike. There are 11 words (incl. etc.) in the apartment guide regarding the TV. We spent 20 mins. on average to tune in to BBC1 or ITV1 to watch the Euro 2024 football. No guide to call upon etc.. A HUGE negative. 2. Price. Dislike. Not good value in any way. 3. Noise. Dislike. Wind can howl down the chimney in the main bedroom.

My family and I (8 people total) recently stayed in a villa just outside Portobello in the Puglia area of Italy. Dealing with Oliver's Travels was a great experience (this is the second time we have used them). Their communication with us leading up to the trip as well as their responsiveness to questions we had during our stay was first class. Our accommodation was spectacular. We were very impressed with the quality of our rental and would absolutely stay there again.

First of all you folks did a great job on the booking etc. However, I wonder if you do any checks on the quality of what your owner-clients provide? We the renter-clients are of course vulnerable to not getting quality in return for the substantial fees we pay. I have booked twice with Oliver's Travels, once in Puglia and once in Madeira. I gave some feedback on Puglia expressing surprise at some shortfall in quality of provision. This time in Madeira, we were surprised at the smell of stale effluent in one of the en-suite bathrooms and the pantry. We did out best to 'spray' perfume over it. The concierge attempted once to deal with it and then commented 'It's not so bad if you leave the door open'. The villa overall was wonderful, views excellent etc. My question mainly is if you at Oliver's Travels have any checks in place about the quality of what you advertise and provide through your services? I would like to get a direct response please.

READ BEFORE BOOKING!! 1) Check the small print hidden away. The price on the website is not the price you pay. Cleaning is extra ( ours was £800 for a week!), utilities, pool heating, all extra added on. Don't prepay this when you book, as they then try and make you pay again when you are there! 2) They are not ABTA protected, and you are NOT covered on your credit card for any issues. Your contract is with the villa owner, so trying to get any money back/ refund/ cancellation is impossible. 3) You pay a huge security deposit (£5k) before you go, and they can just take any amount upto this off your card. We had an inspection post checkout, was told all fine locally, then hit with £500 + of charges we couldn't stop being taken off the card. 4) Customer service has no direct email/ telephone number. They then ignore complaint emails. You have to keep emailing ( they ignore you) so you have to just keep ringing the sales team daily until they decide to reply. When they do reply it is a rude " this is it, don't contact us again". 5) Maid service was advertised as included in our villa - it was not provided, so be aware of what you see on the website might not be the reality of the holiday. Book with Air BnB, or a villa company who are ABTA protected, as Oliver's Travels just take your money and then won't readily communicate with you if there are any issues with the deposit/ accommodation or charges. You really are left with the small claims court to try and get any money back from them. Email address for customer services ( hard to find ) : customerservices at oliverstravels.com

The Villa is 5 star - pristine, luxurious, sophisticated, well equipped and amazing views! I booked it in order to propose to my partner and Monique went out of her way to help me make the proposal perfect! I cannot talk highly enough of the whole experience.

Casa Tulipano as marketed by Oliver's Travels does not exist under that name. The property is called Casa Il Melograno and is managed/marketed by Interhome who provide the travel documents. It is within Campo del Palio Agriturismo and not visible from the road. We had a lot of grief trying to find Casa Tulipano as no-one had heard of it. Hope this helps others to find it.

I'm very disappointed in the level of customer service at this holiday, our first (and last) with OT. A couple of days before the trip to Mallorca for our holiday rental, I received an email from OT headed 'Directions to Your Villa'. It contained no directions. I mailed to ask if there had been an error as no directions were attached? The customer service rep said no, don't worry about it, it's a standard mail that goes to everyone, forget it. OK, I asked, but how do I find the villa? The owner will send you them, she answered. OK, but why did you send me a mail with that title? Because it's a standard mail that goes to everyone, she replied. Ugh, what a waste of my time. OT recommended that we rent a car from Zest Car Rental. So I thought, well, keep it all together, and rented from them. A couple of days prior to the holiday, Zest wrote to say they sub-contracted the business to a company called K-10. It turns out that Zest is a price comparison website, it took my business, creamed off a profit and handed the business to the most awful car rental company I've ever experienced. Hard sell on insurance extras, several damage spots on the car that was not shown on their documentation, and an extreme reluctance to give me that documentation. Total bandits. When I raised this with OT, the customer service lady 'cut and paste' the small print and said you were made aware that Zest Car Rental is not a Car Rental company. And finally, after the holiday absolutely ZERO follow-up from OT. No request for a review of the property (which by the way was very good), no request for feedback on the quality of their service, nothing. Conclusion: OT lost a first time customer, and they couldn't really care less about that.

Super Villa in the charming L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. Absolutely ideal for us as one of the party uses a wheelchair and its all on the same level, even the pool and outdoor eating/seating. Would highly recommend to anyone on a similar situation.
