if my evicton was 8-10 years ago (not from your management ) ..would you guys approve me?
Most definitely would recommend Pangea to anyone, my god sister has been with this company for about 5 years and she would always mention how great it is being a tenant , well I’ll just say I’m finally glad to say the same I look forward to being a tenant forever that’s just how much I love my new place

HERE WE GO AGAIN! After I left the last update I'm STILL HAVING ISSUES WITH PANGEA! On Friday August 24th I was preparing for an event Sat. August 25th. The kitchen sink was retaining water and the more I was using it water began to fill up and go down even though I was plunging it. On Saturday August 25th l called The Maintenance department to let them know the sink was stopped up and in DANGER OF OVERFLOWING and that someone needs to come and fix it! Also to change the battery in the smoke detector. I was asked permission to allow maintenance to enter the unit if I was not here. I agreed. As of Tuesday August 28th NO ONE CAME NOR CONTACTED ME ABOUT THE REQUEST! On Tuesday August 28th I called the office AGAIN and I was told that the request was put in incorrectly and it was NOT CONSIDERED AN EMERGENCY BUT HIGH PRIORITY! REALLY!😤 This is Tuesday! The request was called in on Saturday morning at 9 a.m.! After yet ANOTHER CALL on Tuesday 8-28 to Pangea maintenance came at 7:30pm and pumped 3 large containers of water out of the sink. I was told someone would be here first thing in the morning. He also said the sink should not over flow anymore tonight . WELL .... about 10-15 minutes after maintenance left the sink immediately started bubbling up and eventually overflowing onto the cabinets and floor! I called Pangea and GOT A RECORDING! Today is Wednesday August 29th it's now after 11:30 a.m NO ONE HAS SHONE UP YET! I spoke with a Manager Wendy at 10:15 am to put in ANOTHER CLAIM! She said there was no additional information on the request from Tuesday night! REALLY! I also informed her that on Friday August 24th Nicor Gas had to come out to address a GAS LEAK!. They reported the fact the stove had 2 leaks because the manifold connection was loose I couldn't move in for 30days because THERE WAS SUPPOSEDLY AN INSPECTION DONE ON THE UNIT REALLY!? IAM BEYOUND FRUSTRATED! I HAVE BEEN HERE FOR 13 DAYS I SILL HAVE BOXES TO UNPACK.STILL NO PEACE! I have a Community base T.V show so now it looks like I'll have to take my complaints to the MEDIA! Maybe this will MAKE A DIFFERENCE! UPDATE:: I will give credit where its due. Thank you for addressing my issues! On Monday August 20, 2018 The Maintenance Man came and made good on the requested repairs. He was very apologetic for my inconvenience. All repairs and security concerns has been taken care of except for the screen in the bathroom. Mr. V as I refer to the Maintenance guy was very respectful and courteous as well as other employees and upper management of Pangea on this matter! Moving forward I pray I will have a great experience with Pangea. I'll reconsider my offer to tell others about Pangea! Keep up the timely responses Pangea! Thanks again!✌ On July 13th I viewed & selected one of Pangea's apartments. I was told that there had to be an inspection. However, it will take 30 days. I made a $500 deposit to hold the apt. On 8-15-18 I signed more documents then received the keys. When I entered the apt to my AMAZEMENT & DISAPPOINTMENT I could CLEARLY SEE THAT ABSOLUTELY NOTHING WAS DONE TO THE APT! In fact , 2 bullets were lying in the Living room window! 4 windows WON'T LOCK & I'm on the 1st floor!! The shower doesn't have rods nor brackets for a rod! The toilet seat is brown and rusted..NEEDS TO BE REPLACED!! The bath tub has paint that is EXTREMELY OBVIOUS PEELING! There were objects in the refrigerator still there since my viewing in July 13th! I have spoken with SEVERAL employees of Pangea since day 1 and NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME IN 4 DAYS! I also called the local police to come and REMOVE THE 2 BULLETS! I FEEL VERY UNSAFE AFTER GIVING THESE PEOPLE $500 + $885. I CAN'T TAKE A SHOWER OR BATHE IN A PLACE I'VE PAID FOR? I HAVE TO DO THAT WITH FAMILY & FRIENDS! I WILL NEVER EVER RECOMMEND PANGEA REALTY TO ANYONE...EVER! I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE IT! NO PEACE ✌😤
Their phone customer service was excellent. The person who showed me the room was a little stressed and took it out on me. The person I signed the lease from also had an angry attitude towards me. But overall, I am very satisfied with the company as a whole. The process of moving in has been excellent. The room itself has many problems but I could tell they did a lot of work already and I am very grateful for that. It is an old building on the South Side of Chicago and I don't expect them to spend thousands on the new floor and carpet that it needs or replace the refrigerator so it fits in its appropriate spot. I hope I can work with this company moving forward to get the changes made that they can do.

From start to finish the process was easy and no hassles. The property manager was very professional and explained everything to me thoroughly.
Was told apartment was wired for phone. It was not. I still don't have a mailbox and keys. This company doesn't know how to do legitimate business.
Recently moved out of a Pangea building that was mice infested I couldn’t have House guess over they would run out st any time and it only got worse had to move hope I have a better experience in the new building.
I actually heard about Pangea through a friend and once I applied, they informed me that I was approved within like 2 days . The process was really fast and now I’m waiting to get my keys. Thank you Pangea.
The leasing agent Taylor & Tyesha was extremely professional and helpful. The property manager Chanel Lay needs additional training extremely unprofessional and rude. The entire leasing department located On Madison & Austin should be terminated. The staff had their children behind the counter on two separate occasions. Along with the maintenance crew using profanity in front of residence and potential. Once my lease is up I will not be resigning terrible experience.
My Apartment is nice needs a lil work but they need to invest in some buildings in better neighborhoods
I was disappointed with the process of seeing apartments when the apartment was unavailable to me. I took off work early to view an apartment that was already leased. I would have thought the person showing the apartment would have been informed about the unavailability. I requested to have my name attached to another apartment I liked. I saw the place on a Saturday. I called the office Monday to find out about the apartment and was told someone had signed a lease for that one as well. Other than these two instances, I am satisfied.

So far it has been pleasant it was a few things broken in the apartment when I moved in an its takes them awhile to come out to fix these things but they have done everything else very well so far

Aug 29,2018My husband and I enjoy living at Pangea. We have a great amount of space. We are also very pleased with the quick maintenance response. Our only complaint is that the hallway leading into the apartment smells awful. Thankfully the smell doesn't transfer into our apartment.
