Ported my landline with no issues. We have been using PhonePower for about a month now. Voice quality has been excellent and have had no issues with service. We also love the integration to nomorobo to block robo callers.
I heard about them from a blog site and called them up on a Saturday. I gave them all my information and they took a year's worth of service right away; to be fair, if you pay for the year up front you get a discount. I tried logging in after an account was setup and I couldn't. I called back and they said that my account was going to be in review and that I wouldn't be able to get all the features that I signed up for... no biggie... as I found out I won't have the international calling. I don't make them anyway so no loss. Then I was told that since my account was in review, I won't be able to log in... Again they asked for all my information... including my Vonage information. Vonage doesn't send out paper bills... it's electronic via email.... keep that in mind. SO I gave them all my information for my Vonage account. Monday comes around and I still can't access my account so I call them up... Oh... my account is in review and they'll need all of my information to setup my account... again. Tuesday happens and I get an email stating that my account cannot be setup because it was missing all of my information... you know... all the information I've been giving them for a few days already... oh... and after they wanted to know where I'll be porting my number over from (Vonage) I was told that I would need a copy of my bill from Vonage... oh and my information... AGAIN. Nope. If you can't get it right the first three times then I'm gone. Who KNOWS what kind of nonsense I would've gone through had they actually been able to setup my account. Thanks for having me avoid a bullet.
I enrolled a short time ago, less than one month. So far no problems.
Staff was knowable of the VoIP system and so I up and run in about 30 minutes
I did order PhonePower and gave my credit card to prepay for a year's service. Several days later I saw that the charge had been credited back to my card. I called to ask why. PhonePower said their email to me had bounced so they cancelled the contract. I thought that was weird since they could have called me but gave them contact info again and again paid for a year's service. Days went by with no followup and then I saw that again the charge had been credited back to my card. I called and complained. PhonePower emailed back and said I did not qualify for their service. They offered no other explanation though I emailed them twice and asked why and how they had decided that.
I called sales and asked for specific 800 phone number that my employer released in order for me to use. I was promised that if I signed up for one year service they would give me the 800 number I requested. When I called back three weeks later to check to see if I got the 800 number, I was told that such a promise was not possible. I immediately canceled the service.I also want to mention that each time I called back the sales individual in question I could not reach him and had to leave multiple messages. I never received a return phone call in eventually called the billing department. Individuals name was Mark.
I was talking to a representative abt the service and he led me to believe that it was a good alternative to my current situation. I got the equipment and it was much less than he said and did not work at all, not to mention that it screwed up the service I did have too.
Had for about 2 months now...works like a champ.
Very good service in general. Submitting an email request for a change or help can take up to a week sometimes to get a response. If ever. They used to have very generous support desk hours. Now when they roll up the carpet in the front office, the people in the back office go home at the same time. So if you work Bankers hours plus a couple of extra, and you get home and need support, good luck.
Easy to set up and phone sounds great! I got rid of my Comcast bundle and this was a cheap option to have a non-cell phone.
Easy sign up and flawless performance.
So far, ive been very satsfied.
The service works great so far. Clear and quality sound.
Fantastic service. It has worked well since the first time I set it up, which was simple to do. I recently cut the cord of a cable company, and Phone Power helped me to make it seamless.
there are times that my family cannot get in touch with me. They get a message saying the phone is not in service at this time. I may not have the wording exactly right but, there is something going on at times. My phones are charged so there should be no reason for them to not be able to call me.
Took our money fast enough but then when a problem occurred with using the portal to use our previous number..there was no communication. We had to dog them for an answer and the window of opportunity had been closed. Terrible follow thru...terrible customer care
Great company great service
Better than I anticipated. Upset I waited so long to drop AT&T. Only complaint (so far) is I wish the number block quantity (currently 60) was higher.
I have never had a problem with my phone service. It is the most affordable service for my home and business and nothing to set-up. Basically a plug-n-play system.
