Apr 22,2025A great effort by the team to get us moved. When it seemed the job was bigger than expected, further reinforcements were quickly brought in to get the job done. Everyone was friendly and helpful too; I’d definitely recommend Pickfords!

Apr 22,2025The delivery of my stored house contents to my new house was very good. The team were careful in handling the boxes and larger items, and dealt very well with putting the items in the house or shed or garage. They were very professional in dealing with the closure of the A27, the senior guy who arrived first went 'above and beyond' to get things moving quickly, I was impressed.

Apr 22,2025The team on the day were fantastic. They were so efficient, organised and really careful with all of our possessions. They checked in with me at each stage of packing the van to make sure they hadn’t missed anything and at delivery pointed out slight damage on one of our wardrobes in case it had happened during transit - it hadn’t, it was already damaged by us. The whole process from the initial video call to unloading at our new house was stress-free thanks to the expertise of the whole team. I can’t thank them enough for helping our move from the Midlands to Wales go so smoothly.

Apr 21,2025So Disappointed with Pickfords – Ongoing Insurance Claim Issues We used Pickfords for our recent move, and sadly, the experience has been incredibly disappointing. Over the course of two days, their team packed us up and moved us to our new home — but once we arrived, we were left to unpack everything which is when we discovered extensive damage to our belongings: Storage boxes smashed through A broken bed Damaged ironing board Broken washing machine legs Champagne and wine glasses broken We had taken out the insurance offered by Pickfords specifically for situations like this. We submitted all required evidence, including photos, nearly three months ago, and we’re still waiting for the payout. Communication has been painfully slow, and we’re constantly chasing for updates with little to no response. We used Pickfords for our last move and were very happy, which makes this experience all the more disappointing. At this point, I honestly don’t think we’d use them again or feel comfortable recommending them.

The people I dealt with were efficient and responsive to queries and the teams that packed and moved us did the job well.

Apr 21,2025PF25018743-01 We couldn’t have been happier with our experience with Pickfords when moving home. The video consultation was easy, all costs were clear and transparent, and Pickfords were totally upfront about what they would take and any limitations (eg flat pack or items they couldn’t move). We were properly informed to make arrangements in advance. In the run up to the move they were very flexible with dates, and the pre-move pack was done in no time. Joseph and Saul were exceptionally thorough, professional and their good-humour made two stressful days much calmer. Aaron on the second day was excellent in helping us getting everything in - the three of them are a real credit to the company. All items were exceptionally well-packed, and we didn’t have a single breakage or item go missing. The boxes that were left with us were quickly arranged to be removed. Honestly, we couldn’t be happier with how the move went. Thanks to Jade, Saul, Joseph and Aaron.

Apr 21,2025Avoid this company, particularly for bigger or slightly complex moves. Absolutely shocking company. Moved us last September, chose Pickfords as it was big and "reputable", had some issues including damage to furniture which have still not been resolved 7 months on. Ignoring emails, passing the buck back and forth and just absolutely no resolution. They have some of our things in storage and it makes me sick with worry regarding the condition of my things. Be advised that after care is appalling, do not sign anything until every item is unpacked, even if it takes weeks, do not trust this company!!

My contact was Simon who was professional and communicated with me throughout the entire international shipping processes. He responded quickly to all my queries and this helped reduced any anxieties I had. Thank you Simon. The movers arrived on time, we kind and respectful and unloaded my items with efficiency and care.. I would use Pickfords services again and highly recommend them.

Apr 18,2025The Team arrived on time and packed everything, and put into storage awaiting a Ship to Asia. The Ship went direct to Singapore, so had to wait about a Month, for the the Container to be unloaded stored, and then sail back on another Ship in the wrong direction for a Week. Cleared Customs, and was delivered within Seven Days, and the lads were well happy to see a lift!! made the job much easier.

Apr 17,2025Pickford's did a staged move for me from Birmingham to Worcester providing storage in between. The team at Pickford's were great throughout. They were on time, professional, efficient and friendly. They took care of items and ensured that floors etc were well protected. Their removals and storage service was really good value for money.
