Mar 31,2025We have just moved into our new home a few days ago and were very impressed with the team from Pickfords. All the way from the review of our requirements that was carried out remotely via video link, to working with the move manager to get everything in place, to the three days that it took for the removals team to pack us up, load the truck and deliver our possessions to our new home. We were happy with the whole process and found everybody to be friendly, helpful and respectful from start to finish.. The removals team deserve an extra special mention. They moved so fast, but were careful with everything as they packed and deposited everything in the appropriate room at our new home. We are still unpacking, but so far no issues or problems with anything. Great job guys. PF25010102

On the day, the team worked hard and were very polite and friendly. We really appreciated having them with us (Manchester/Leeds team) on what can be quite a stressful day. Would definitely recommend pickfords.

The guys who came to collect and pack my belongings were very efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. Mar 29,2025From initial enquiry through survey, quotation, communication regarding dates, to packing in West Yorkshire on a Friday and unpacking in Northumberland on the Monday, we have nothing but praise for the way that Paulina and the whole team (our ref PF25016681) dealt with our removal. The administrator kept us informed and we knew exactly what to expect and when, and they were very supportive and accommodating in relation to the uncertainty of completion date. Having done our own packing, the Friday team arrived, introduced themselves by name to us, and took care to decide on their plan of action. They were reassuring - at a time when our stress levels were somewhat raised, professional, and did their job with skill, care and enthusiasm plus a smile and an occasional song 😊 We were pleased to have the continuity of one of the Friday team with us on the Monday and Steve phoned us en-route to update us with their e.t.a. (they were actually on site before us). Again, the unpacking went without a hitch, the team being obliging and careful and ensuring that we were happy with where things were being placed. Pickfords quotation was not the cheapest, but we were so pleased that we chose them to do our removal. We would have no hesitation to recommend them and give the whole team, from start to finish, a well deserved 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Mar 28,2025My first contact at Pickfords, Colin, stayed with the process from start to finish, and this was not just efficient but reassuring. He twice came to the house, firstly to assess what was involved in the move, and also on the day of loading (which was complicated by 3 motorcycles). This provided great support and made the whole business less stressful. The crew who wrapped and loaded my things were excellent, professional, careful and friendly. The office staff who arranged everything and who kept me informed while my things were in their care and in transit, were so helpful and kept me informed throughout. This was not a simple move. It was from Scotland to Germany, UK to EU, so involved importation, not just transportation. It was complicated by times but Pickfords got the job done in good style. Very friendly with it. Thank you all. The price I thought was very good value also. Highly recommended. Communication was excellent,

Mar 28,2025Our house move went very smoothly from the initial survey through to the day of moving. On the day the team of Graham the lead, Robbie and Sam were excellent. Also the move co-ordinator Carla Carena prior to the move was so helpful in answering my queries prior. I was so impressed by the way our belongings were packaged for shipment and storage. I would definitely recommend Pickfords.

Mar 28,2025The whole process with Pickfords was friendly and straightforward. The quote we received for the removal service from Pickfords was very competitive and they said that the removal could be done over 1 day rather than 2 days as other quotes had said. The crew arrived at 8.15am and familiarised themselves with the task in hand and set to work. They took care with our furniture and other belongings and were happy to discuss our requirements with us. They completed the loading of the van by about 11.30am and said they would be at our new home by 2pm. Unfortunately we weren't able to pick the key up from the estate agent until about 3.30pm. When we arrived at our new address the crew had grown in number as other Pickfords men had joined the original crew to assist them. The crew seemed dissatisfied that they had been tasked to carry out the move in one day rather than two but worked tirelessly to get the job done and again made sure they met our requirements. I would recommend Pickfords for your removals.

Mar 28,2025The team arrived early & wasted no time getting started. They were cheerful, engaging & efficient. Because the boxes were labelled by room it has made unpacking easier. The return service for boxes & packaging means it’s also a greener service. Would highly recommend to everyone.

Mar 28,2025Pickfords did what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Every member of their team was helpful and considerate throughout all of our contact with them. Communication was excellent. Would have given 5 stars were it not for slight damage to an item of furniture but they've handled that well too.

We went with the full wrap service to cut down on stress since we had a lot of other things going on at the same time. Mar 27,2025Recently used Pickfords for a move to storage, to be followed by delivery to a new build home. Video assessment of furniture amount and communication were excellent. Even received a pre-moving call to confirm all requirements. On the day of the move the handlers were brill. They completed the whole house quickly and efficiently with zero problem or damage. Would use them anytime snd highly recommend them to anyone.

We had 3 quotes and decided to use Pickfords because they had listened to our requests,making sure everything was documented and adhered to.Our move manager Mark was easy to talk to and very helpful. The team were professional and even made the day go easier with a little humour. We have not moved house in over 42yrs and never used a removals firm before.Pickfords made everything so easy.We would highly recommend them for a stress free moving day. Thank you Pickfords.
