Apr 17,2025The entire moving process was so smooth, with so much guidance and support from my move manager Nicky and the wider Pickfords team in the run-up to moving day, which helped prepare me and was greatly appreciated as it was my first move on my own. On the day everything was incredibly smooth and required very little input from me, the team were very friendly and polite and kept me updated throughout. It was all taken care of very efficiently, with my items carefully packed and labelled. There were zero issues - in particular treatment of my high value items was very diligent. There is obviously a cost of such a high quality service, but in my eyes the value was well worth it.

Apr 16,2025This is our second time using Pickfords for our move. The first one being for an international move. All our belongings were carefully wrapped and protected. This time we were getting our furniture moved from their storage facility to our home. When I was ready to have our furniture delivered I dealt with Charlotte our Move Manager. She was very helpful, informative and efficient.Everything was perfect. Once we had received all our furniture, Charlotte followed up to ensure that we were happy with Pickfords' service. On the day of the delivery, both trucks arrived as planned and the 5 men couldn't have been more accommodating and helpful! They were great! Cheerful, helpful, and very patient when I was often indecisive about locating the furniture in the correct rooms. They protected the flooring, were very respectful of the house and all the items, which they handled with care. There was no damage whatsoever. They unwrapped every item and took away all the boxes and wrapping. I'm most impressed with how pleasant they all remained throughout the day, never complained or looked exasperated. I couldn't have asked for a better service. I thank Pickfords for the careful storage of our furnishings for a number of years and the redelivery yesterday. I highly recommend them and will most definitely use their services again.

Apr 16,2025Great customer service and communication, had to change dates a couple of days and put my furniture into storage, but all went well and handled well my all the team involved. Most importantly nothing damaged in the process and both crews doing the move were polite and professional

Apr 16,2025Top Class Service! The crew went above & beyond the call of duty in my move from East Sussex to Kent from a cottage to a smaller house. Particular credit goes to gaffer Aaron Stewart who wrestled with my antique Liberty sofa and finally got it out of the old house and into the new one after we took the door off (via emergency locksmith)!!!! Just utterly fabulous service.

Apr 16,2025We had a long distance move relocating from Leeds to Devon. After another removal company let us down after a slight legal delay, I went with Pickfords due to their good ratings and competitive quote. Aside from taking a little longer to get the packing boxes than expected (it was the end of March and everything was going crazy due to upcoming stamp duty changes), the move was handled very professionally and efficiently by the Pickfords team. Paulina was always on hand to co-ordinate and deal with any queries. The team in Leeds John, Kieran & Jonathan loaded us up in good time, John drove down to Devon and was assisted next day by two guys from the Exeter team (I forget the names,sorry!) All were very considerate, careful and accomodating with moving boxes to the correct rooms. Overall a very smooth long distance move, handled by a very professional team and way better value than other 'big name' companies. Thanks, would definitely recommend

Apr 15,2025Stuart who loaded our furniture with a colleague, drove it to Scotland and practically unloaded it by himself, was brilliant. You have to know what you're doing and Stuart is an expert. Everything arrived in one piece and we can't thank Stuart enough for all his hard work, friendliness and professionalism.

Apr 15,2025My Father in law passed away early morning of our move so my husband was not here - my Son was with me and with our emotions running so high your guys kept us upbeat and got us through the whole thing. They were kind, respectful, extremely helpful fixed a table and helped un plumb the washing machine. Efficient funny it was a total pleasure to have them with us xxxxxxxx

Apr 15,2025I needed a trusted company to help my family move. With Pickfords being a well known moving company. I knew they would be the only ones i could trust to do it. My move Manager was Samantha. She was so helpful. Helping us with extra tips, answering all my questions and arranging extra packing tape, due to us being extra careful. Our moving team were amazing. They even moved our sofas around the lounge twice, due to me wanting it the other way round. That's what we are here for. One of them said. Little things mean a lot. I am so glad i used Pickfords and will be recommending them to all my friends and family.

Apr 15,2025Customer service is 10 out of 10!! Not only was I guided through the process but they checked that everything went well after the goods were packed. They have helped me filled customs forms and provided an excellent service. They have made my move go smoothly and without any issues. The guys that came to pack the goods were very professional and nice. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Pickfords!

The movers were incredible - just so careful with everything but also really efficient. We were moved in no time at all.

Apr 15,2025Particular thanks to our move manager, Jade, and our moving crew lead, Joseph, on the day. We required a few changes to move dates and ended up needing different vans due to access. Jade responded quickly and helpfully whenever we needed to change anything and on the day Joseph worked tirelessly and was super friendly and helpful. Move reference: PF25018955-01
