My daughter bought a car from Pinetree superstore in Bridgend which on the whole looked a nice car. This is where this experience changed literally overnight. Within the first week the car had broken down and had various lights had appeared. When we called the garage in Bridgend we were fobbed off very quickly and told it was nothing to do with them and we would need to call the after sales team in Tonypandy. We called the aftersales service several times before they agreed to collect the car from the garage and have a look at the faults. We dropped the car back at the garage and heard nothing for days until my wife called to see what's happening. We were told that a part was needed and they would be in touch. Again days went by with no communication from Tonypandy aftersales dept. Finally we got through and we were told that parts will not be available any time soon and my daughter would not be getting her car back until the end of January. The issue was an airbag problem which in a car that we have only had it for a week is worrying. As for aftersales its none existent. My daughter is now left with out her newly acquired car and as parents we are very concerned that after only one week safety issues have identified with the car.
After a national "respected" dealer tried to rip me off for over £3k, then lied to cover it up, I found the car I wanted at Pinetree on Autotrader. One phone call later, and Mo was absolutely friendly, helpful, honest, and an absolute pleasure to do business with. Purchased a car 8 months ago and within a month of having it, there was issues. The urea light came on and the engine line. I spoke to pine tree and they told me I would need to take it to a garage or fill up the ad blue, I purchased ad blue and the light went off. Within a week it came on again. It would go off and then come back on a few weeks later. Recently the lights came on again even though the tank was filled up and it stated only 700 miles left until it wouldn’t come back on. The timer keeps going down as I cannot afford £1,500 at a minimum to pay to fix the car even though this is a known issue with Citroen. Now in the last week the heaters have now stopped working. The amount of faults wrong with the car since purchasing is beyond and this isn’t the first car I’ve had, my precious cars have been older and lasted longer.
I picked up my Audi A3 from Pinetree car superstore in Caerphilly today. I saw the car waiting as i drove up and it had been valeted professionally. I was led through to Neil who I'd spoken to over the phone, he was welcoming and friendly. I'd been to a couple of main dealers before this and was treated like i didn't matter because i wasn't there to buy a brand new top of the range model but not with Neil. At Pinetree i was given an opportunity to take a good look around the car, i wasn't rushed and when it came time to sign the paper work i was was told about different options that i may want to consider but it never felt like aggressive sales like other places I'd been too. The car is my dream car that I've wanted since it came out in 2015 it's in good order with everything topped up and ready to go there was even just under a half tank of fuel inside to get me on my way. Top quality service and a lovely car would happily recommend Pinetree car superstore and Niel. 5 star service!
I was extremely impressed by the service I had at the Bridgend branch from start to finish. I was made to feel like a valued customer as soon as I called inquiring about a vehicle for my young son. While it is too early to comment on the vehicle it was immaculately clean and I took comfort in knowing background checks for outstanding finance etc had been carried out. I feel the price we paid was an extremely fair one for the immaculate vehicle we then went on to purchase. Chris, our salesman in Bridgend was patient and very helpful and I loved the fact there was no heavy sales patter at any point. Every question about the vehicle was answered to our satisfaction and Chris was professional and very pleasant throughout. I cannot recommend this family firm enough. Great people and Im very happy with my car
Needed a car quite urgently due to few months of vehicle issues and we had already bought 2 cars from here in the family. We looked online and nothing really jumped out at us but because we wanted buy from a reputable dealer we thought we'd pop in. Gavin approached us and asked us what we were looking for, we said we needed something within budget, ideally diesel and family appropriate along with being a work horse. He told us to have a wander round while he had a look what was in stock and see if we could see anything ourselves. Gavin then approached us 5 minutes later and explained the options we had and took us into the office to have a look. After looking at a few on the website he took us outside to show us them in person and have a chat and look around. We decided to test drive a 15 plate polo which had pretty much everything we wanted and was in price range. After about an hour and a bit of being there we placed our deposit down on the vehicle and signed the paper work agreeing a date we would return for the car. Super simple and easy, on collection we dealt with a gentleman called Alex, who was also highly professional and dealt with everything in a swift manner. Touch wood have had the car a week now and it is great! super smart and tidy car for all our needs and as normal would definitely return for another car!
Absolutely shocking service . Purchased a Hyundai Tucson back In March . Every week since they have had it back for problems that was never resolved properly . Sent to Hyundai due to stop start not working and a recall where I was informed the air filter is completely clogged and diesel filter haven’t been replaced since 2018 . After care has been shocking with the way I have also been spoken to and told I didn’t have to go to the Hyundai garage and could have gone to any rac approved garage , when told there after service was shocking he took no interest at all Edit -Hi I must inform you that the car has come back for valeting , scratches removed and service due to the light coming on . Also there was a whole in the seat that was then fixed with a gentleman coming to my home to do it . So it has been back numerous times also they are the place that sent me to Hyundai due to stop start not working Also from the phone call today I can inform you I ring to state that it had been taken to Hyundai due to the stop start and for part under warranty, where they informed me that the air filter and diesel filter needed changing I only called to see if this was meant to be done . Hyundai also informed me that Pintree themselves should have pick up that the steering rack was faulty I can give give dates of which the vehicle came back to yourselves
