Perhaps doing the repairs that people phone in about
I’ve been with Places for people since 2019 & the flat I rent has been affected by severe damp the whole time. They left my elderly (in his 70) neighbour with black mould growing off his walls so much so he couldn’t use his bedroom. I’ve reported it to them countless times they either ignore me or do remedial repairs that don’t fix the underlying problem. P4P forced me to have countless days off work so they could repeatedly commission fake damp reports (with 3 different companies) that they have no intention of implementing or even sending a copy to me the tenant, even once. The only time I have had them respond to the damp is when I involved Environmental Health with my council. When they had no legal choice. Even then they obfuscated the problem to my next-door neighbours, like I pay my rent to the neighbours. They literally ignored the last damp I reported for over a year( November 2024) repeated delay or said there were more urgent repairs & then they removed the pair from my online account entirely. Their customer service is awful, a disgusting joke & the ignorant staff told me it was a courtesy for them doing their jobs. I stopped calling. There’s absolutely no hope for this company they only care about the rent. Everything else they can & do ignore. I’m not interested in disingenuous apologies especially when you’ve had years for fix the problem. No longer propping up their garbage business model with a captive audience. I’m taking my case to the housing ombudsman.
Thankyou so much, he was perfect
I reported that storm Eowan had disrupted unsecured roof insulation tiles at 9am on 24 January 2025 and was assured that maintenance personnel would visit site to rectify NO SHOW f'in idiots - tiles blew over garage entrance onto main thoroughfare and could have seriously maimed a small child, vulnerable adult or pet. PfPS are atrocious landlords totally incompetent despite highest UK wage for CEO don't even think of buying here = properties are poorly constructed and service is appalling
Friendly staff
1 star is far to much, we have been tenants for 23 years, they got a damp an mould company in and ignored their advice, lied to take us to court 3 times and they lost every time with no costs to ourselves our stage 1 complaint lasted over a year and they still have not done the work needed 4 years later and you can bet if they write a reply it will be generic starting with we are very sorry…actions speak louder than words I need more space to put down my full list of complaints
The company overall are great very friendly people and very helpful.
To put it this way I went to Mark on October 1 and got a place that day and although a bit noisy with traffic I am very happy with it. As for the rest of services I have only been here a short time so I don't know.
All staff have been very helpful and supportive
My experience at TouchStone & PlacesForPeople was nothing short of appalling, and I would strongly advise anyone to steer clear of this organization. While working there, I was physically assaulted—a shocking and traumatic event that no employee should ever have to endure. Instead of taking appropriate action to address the situation, the company made matters worse by wrongfully dismissing me. The internal appeal process was nothing more than a facade. It was biased, lacked transparency, and clearly existed to protect the company rather than ensure fairness or justice for employees. I was left feeling unsupported, disregarded, and betrayed by a system that should have been there to uphold basic workplace rights. This company’s disregard for employee safety and well-being is unacceptable. Their actions demonstrated a complete lack of accountability, ethics, and integrity. A workplace should provide a safe environment and fair treatment—this organization failed on every level. If you care about your safety, your rights, and being treated with basic human decency, avoid TouchStone & PlacesForPeople at all costs. My experience was deeply distressing, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone.

Jan 27,2025Absolute joke if a housing association! We were left for months with no heating or hot water while still paying outrageous amount of money for the gas. Done absolutely nothing for 3 years about this issue! Also the roof of the stair blew off in the storm and we were to to get out but then left us all weekend with no communication! Tennants having to move themselves out as there house is destroyed! Monday morning now and still no one in contact and told on phone there is no one to speak to! Don't know how you became a housing association!
