I was leery of using VRBO or Airbnb for international destinations and I stumbled upon Plum Guide, which is exactly what I was looking for - a reputable lodging I could trust. We booked a villa in Tuscany and Plum Guide was easy to work with, very responsive and the property was excellent. They also worked with us and the host so we could have a shorter stay, which we appreciated. Upon check out there was a small issue in that the listing indicated a/c cost 10 euro/day, but it was supposed to be 30 per day. Fortunately, the villa host honored what was in the listing.

Aug 30,2024Great experience with Plum Guide, the host house not so much. We had some issues with the Host in Florence, air conditioning and a few amenities. Plum Guide addressed them immediately and satisfactorily. They stand behind their reputation and service. We had a similar issue with AirBNB last year and not only did AirBNB not rectify the situation, they blamed us for our luxury unit, with a doorman and 3 locks, getting robbed. Plum Guide is a reliable travel provider and back up their reputation with responsive and respectable service. High standards you can fully rely to be executed. Stay with Plum Guide.

Aug 29,2024So far, so good RE my interactions with Plum Guide! We are very excited about the lovely apartment we have reserved in Madrid next summer. (I booked another property for earlier in our trip before checking the map to see its exact location. We will not have a rental car, and the property was not very close to transit, so I requested help canceling the reservation. Thankfully both the host and the Plum Guide staff were very understanding and allowed me to cancel the reservation.)

Aug 27,2024Apartment was as in pictures however photos didn’t show some of the age especially some needed painting on doors and closets. Hot water took extremely long to get into showers. Very comfortable overall.

Aug 26,2024The apt was exactly like they described, it was clean & bright & had all the amenities.The team were very helpful & kept in contact to make sure everything was in order. The check in time was 4:00pm but because my flight got in early morning they arranged that I could drop of my bags around 12:30 however they kindly let me check in at that time. The first day I had a problem with no hot water but after informing them someone was around the next day & fixed. Would gladly use them again the service was excellent.

We had an absolutely stunning apartment in venice. The location, service by the owner and the quality of the the whole interior and flat was an absolute dream. It felt more like a Suite in a 5 star hotel than a private managed apartment. I will definitely book my next trip again Evis Plum Guide. Aug 25,2024The Plum team is responsive in the case a host goes rogue - and while we are left to fend for ourselves to find accommodations Memorial Day weekend - that’s just part of the travel adventure. Juan from Plum reached out and offered us prompt refund AND 20 percent credit towards our next booking - hmmmm. This is a London based company and I have inquired if he can find us a flat in So Ho for the night. Updating star rating from 1 to 4 - kind of reminds me of the old joke about the donkey - very responsive, but first you have to get his attention. Plum Guide charged 433 in May for a rental in Pas Robles on Seprember 1. August 22 we were notified by the home owner that their is some sort unforseen Plumbing Problem and they can’t have us stay at the home. They said they communicated with Plum Guide. I have too, but all I I have heard back is an out of office message from someone on maternity leave.

Aug 25,2024What a great house. Recently renovated to a high spec standard. All rooms en suite with a cool room in the loft with 6 beds which suited the kids in our party! The pool is heated and although the area is quiet it is easily commutable to local towns. However, we did use the bar at the back of the house, the owners were very friendly and knowledgeable about the area and we ate and drank well there. We hired bikes and cycled to Bruges along the canal path which was fantastic and also into Ostend for a day at the beach. The house is easy to find from Calais, we drove over and the journey was fairly quick and easy. Enjoyed the bbq area and the big family kitchen - we were a mixed family party meeting here for a birthday celebration. We all had a wonderful time. Would definitely recommend, plenty of space to be together and to be apart :)

Aug 24,2024Booking - easy Taking my money for the booking - easy Getting my money back when it all went pear shaped? - unbelievably easy because they understood it was their host. I sent a confirmation ahead of time about our travel plans. I sent it again before we caught our train to Florence and had no update on exactly where to go. Then we get to Florence and still no update. So, I call the host. The host had actually made other plans for the lodging and couldn't 'see' our confirmation even though she did see the messages in Plum Guide. She thought she could give us one night, but that meant we would have to abandon our plans for the next day and find new lodgings. I asked for a full refund. Plum Guide was unable to find any other options for us and processed an immediate refund with an added bonus if choose to use them again in the future. They were quick to communicate once this started all coming apart, which was great, since I was standing at the train station with my cases and no lodging. Lucky for me, I found something. This was my first time using Plum Guide. I'm not sure I will be brave enough to use the voucher and try a second time.

Good communication about check in, check out and other arrangements Fantastic house - masses of space, bedrooms and bathrooms, wonderfully decorated, equipped and maintained. Bonus of fabulous salt water pool. Everything was in place to enable us to have a fantastic holiday. Good location for travelling around Algarve and as a base to travel onwards to Lisbon etc Another very positive experience with Plum!

Sep 03,2024The 3Bed Flat was easily accessible, neat and clean. close to main restaurants and shops. nice view from the third floor. All amenities functional and user friendly.
