The property is very well equipped & having the terrace is a definite bonus. Both beds were comfy & good shower in the bathroom. Would strongly recommend for anyone looking to stay in Granada.

Hi, We've reached out a few times about our experience. We are well traveled, have used AirBnB and VRBO for a long time, have two young kids who have come with us on many trips. This location was mis-advertised as being close to the beach. It was not clean, quite damp, and very few things worked (no hot water for showering, laundry machine was broken). We reported these issues to the host and Plum Guide and got nothing back. The neighbors hosted a giant party, complete with tent and catering, outside our window one night. Then the host changed the lock code in the middle of our stay. We were stuck outside for an hour in the middle of the night, with two young children, trying to raise the host and support from Plum Guide. Eventually the host responded and changed it back, saying "that happens sometimes". We never heard from Plum Guide support about the issue (even after we checked out!). We felt very unsafe and will not use the Plum Guide service again. We do not recommend it to anyone. They clearly did not vet the location or the host, would not help us when problems arose, and did not respond to complaints we registered with them through their support team, their website, and direct emails to senior staff.

Excellent service overall. Sean, our host in Painswick, was amazing. He brought by pizza dough he had made so that we could make our own pizza. He guided us through potential biking trips. He was awesome to get to know. Through our trip, our encounters with him were some of our most memorable. I recognize that there's a balance here, but Sean seemed very adept at knowing what we wanted and needed. The website was very good as well. While accommodations were a little pricey, the location and value were supreme, and I'd do all 3 of the places again, in London, Edinburgh, and Painswick. Hard to pick a date as I stayed with you for 1.5 weeks in 3 places.

Extraordinary customer service! From the moment we started looking for a place in Paris, the Plum Guide assisted us with every single step. From initial inquires, additional pictures, booking, local recommendations and rental facilities outlined, we were guided right up to a delightful welcome from our host, who met us at the door when we arrived. There is nothing Plum Guide can do to improve their already exceptional customer service and experience. All communications were replied to within 24-36 hours with a follow up from our host. Our airline changed our arrival and then departure dates and even these two stressors were handled promptly, eliminating any concerns we had. We asked for reviews and were sent so many magazine articles and recommendations that confirmed we were making the right choice. We greatly appreciated Plum Guide’s cancellation policy in the event of an emergency. Our apartment in the Marais was in an excellent location close to grocery stores, metro, pharmacies, markets and shopping. We felt very safe and the added security at the entry was reassuring. We were thrilled with the modern, spacious two bedroom, two shower, one bathroom apartment that came with plenty of closet space and a full kitchen with a dishwasher and washer/dryer. We thank our host (who was available for contact during our stay) and cannot wait to use Plum Guide again in the future. A fabulous stay in Paris with many memories made.

Where do I start? Communicating with a human being when there is a crisis is made very difficult - too many hoops to jump through before actually connecting with a person who can offer assistance, rather than a series of questions or bots. On discovering that we had not booked directly with yourselves, but with a secondary company, who were equally uncommunicative we found out that either yourselves or the other company had double booked us - and we were en route with nowhere to stay. As you were unable to provide us with alternative accommodation we were offered a refund and extra to cover the inconvenience - the only part of our dealings with your company that went smoothly. Consequently, we were left to make our own arrangement, which we did with the far superior and utterly professional Coquet Cottages, whose customer service was every bit as impressive as yours was diabolical. We would avoid your company at all costs in the future as we were totally unaware that we were not booking directly, nor would we book with your sub letting company, Host and Stay. Utterly shambolic.

The apartment was gorgeous and everything dealing with plum guide was fantastic and very easy. The only knock that we had was that the apartment listing was not entirely accurate. It said AC and remote checkin and there was no AC and a key handoff with the owner. We'll probably use them again when we are able.

We had a wonderful time at The Old Barn. It was secluded and quiet but just up the road from the town of Witney. The house was spacious, well appointed and with large windows overlooking the back patio and sheep pastures beyond the garden. We enjoyed our stay very much.

This was the first time we used Plum Guide and the place we booked exceeded expectations. Plum were helpful during the booking process with good communications. The place was exactly as described and great quality. Our specific review of the house:Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. The river side setting is beautiful and the hot tub was popular with all the family! We didn't get time to use he games room but can see it would be very popular with older children. The local town is very attractive and has a number of nice and traditional shops. There is a COOP supermarket within a mile. There is also a good selection of options to eat out. We found the locals a very friendly bunch. The location is close to some brilliant walks either straight from the house or a short drive away. We did Cadair Idris which is a good hike but there are a number of family friendly options such as Torrent Walk and Precipice Walk. Good road connections to wider Wales.

This is a positive review for Plum Guide, while at the same time outlining a poor experience with a rental they represented and how they handled it. We had Plum Guide named Kensington Set at 51 Kensington Court Unit 4 reserved for 11 nights. Two of the amenities listed - AC/ Washer-Dryer were inoperable. When we dropped off luggage prior to check in, we could see that the apartment was not what we expected. Plus, it was almost 90 degrees in the apt. Tom, our rental host from Property By Capital, was completely absent and was unresponsive, not answering a single text or question. The heat was a big problem for us and first thing straightaway, I ruined a load of good cold water washable clothing, some brand new, in the washer because it was plumbed incorrectly with only very hot water. No way for it to do a cold load, but the host did not mention it. Then we realized the dryer did not work either. 12 days and no way to wash towels or sheets and no maid service. Lack of response from Tom, our host from Property By Capital, made our stress much worse. We mis placed our key for a couple of hours and our host would not respond. We were able to find a cleaning person in the building to help us get a second key. We did get hold of someone, Arpit, at Property By Capital. He was very nice, but he strung us along for a couple of days, with no intention of fixing anything. Then we started receiving communication from Plum Guide, William, Care Manager and he started trying to help us. He wanted them to quickly repair the ac and fix the washer, but it became obvious that they were not going to make it right. He did everything he could and gave us several good options to move or accept compensation. He even offered to pay for the ruined clothing. We could not ask for more and he was calm and helpful the whole time. He was appalled at what was happening and he just wanted to make it right. We are reading other reviews, of units in this same building and their poor treatment. VRBO did nothing to help them. If we had to get a problem property, I am glad it was through Plum Guide, because William did everything he could to help us. Plum Guide tells us that they are not representing this property again until they make the necessary changes and that they are contacting all their existing reservations at this property and helping them make other arrangements. I would never stay at any Property By Capital properties, or recommend the Ghost Host “Tom,” but I would definitely use Plum Guide again and feel comfortable doing so. Especially because of William, their Customer Care Manager. He was A++. He never left us alone and was there for us the entire time.

Caution when booking with plumguide.com! On its homepage, plumguide.com advertises with great glossy photos and great promises like "Reliable hosts" and "Our mission is to eradicate disappointment". Unfortunately, when I wanted to book, the exact opposite turned out to be the case: extremely unreliable and unreliable hosts, and a lot of hassle and problems when booking accommodation in Paris. The company Plum Guide itself - and especially Customer Care - makes a lot of effort to support and mediate with the booking of its accommodations, but apparently a number of its hosts are very unreliable and dubious. Especially in Paris: Sasha, the host of the high-gloss accommodation "Air & Dreams", was extremely unreliable and untrustworthy and repeatedly did not stick to binding contracts (the Plum Guide has allegedly kicked him out of the offer because of this). In any case, I can only strongly advise against booking the "Air & Dreams" accommodation in Paris! In addition, the Plum Guide for Paris offers other good-sounding and apparently attractive high-gloss offers, but if you then want to book them, they are suddenly no longer available or only at a significantly higher price. (Accommodation "Pamplemousse" in Paris). Conclusion: I have had a very bad experience trying to book with Plum Guide and can only advise against booking there. The full-bodied promises on the website turn out to be simply fake in practice!
