The booking process was straight forward and easy. The place we rented was noisy as there are 4 rental units out of 5 in the building. The noise factor should be mentioned in the listing. If Plum Guide is catering to an international clientele across many time zones, they should staff accordingly and have staff available 24/7. It appears they don't.

Booking with Plum Guide will expose you to all the same problems as booking with AirBnB, except that it will cost you more. The first thing to know is that the Plum Guide “guarantee” is worthless. We booked six months ahead of a sports event because we needed reliable accommodation for guests visiting from overseas; six weeks ahead of the event, our reservation was cancelled. There was nothing available for the 20 percent more that PlumGuide offers for cancelled bookings, and customer service seemed completely unfamiliar with London (we believe they’re located off shore). Plum Guide finally responded when we posted a one star review. They offered us higher compensation to make a new booking if we took down one star review. We did so because we thought everything was sorted. It wasn’t. Despite the fact that we informed Plum Guide the guests couldn’t share beds (they were workmates), Plum Guide provided a place where the hosts initially refused to allow a third person to sleep in the living room. Plum Guide also misrepresented the property on their website, listing it as if it the host was an individual, when the host was in fact a corporate letting company that was extremely difficult to deal with. While our guests ultimately were able to stay in the apartment (and use an air bed in the living room), getting everything to work finally took a huge amount of time and patience. It wasn’t worth it. Edit following PlumGuide's reply: I'm surprised to see them say they can't locate our case. A senior staff member in their London office contacted us and stayed in touch with us for weeks. He still couldn't resolve the problems. If PlumGuide can't identify this case based on the details provided, it must mean issues like this arise all the time.

Management was very responsive, unit was clean and well maintained. Internet connection worked well as did the A/C throughout the unit. It takes longer for the loft to cool off at night. Location was off-center, but within walking distance of the center. You can also park your vehicle at a paid garage nearby (Marconi, 100 meters).

I was confident in booking via Plum Guide due to their guarantees and vetting process and they exceeded my expectations. Booking was easy, communication was easy, the host was absolutely wonderful and flexible, and the house was pristine. I was blown away by the amount of things the host thought of, from milk and bread to snacks to luxury soaps and shampoos to a full binder of recommendations and things to do in the area. The house was even better than the photos, which can be hard to find. I would much rather book through Plum Guide than any other platform I have used before!

We had the most wonderful week ever in our Paris apartment, Parisien Savoir Faire! Our online Plum Guide host helped us find the perfect apartment for 8 people attending a workshop. It had fabulous huge windows facing a popular square with many shops, restaurants, a pharmacy and a metro station. Once we arrived, our host in Paris met us at the apartment and explained everything. She was in touch day and night to answer questions. Fridge was not cooling and she had a new one delivered ASAP. Checkout was seamless. Outstanding customer service!

Our experience was seamless!! Communication was spot on! This should be every person’s experience when traveling abroad and not knowing what to expect! Plum Guide understood the assignment…found and made our accommodations exceptionally simple (for our 1 month stay in Paris). We trusted and they delivered a fabulous service!

Nous avons loué a plusieurs reprises des appartements de vacances auprès de Plum Guide..et nous avons toujours ete satisfaits... Nous nous sommes rendus le 12 Aout dernier a celui que nous avions réservé et payé pour la somme 1431,78 €,,, Déjà a l'arrivée..le quartier...était..LA ZONE..voire DANGEREUX... un appartement de 200 m2 POURRI..qui sentait le moisi...aucun réseau ni telephone..ni internet accessible uniquement dans la cuisine..la proprietaire disant que pour etre connectée..il fallait descendre dans la rue... Plum Guide n'a rien voulu entendre..nous avons perdu notre argent..et sommes allés a l'Hotel..ce qui est tres difficile en mois mois d'aout.. NOUS ENTENDONS DEPOSER UNE PLAINTE CONTRE PLUM GUIDE.

Plum had by far the largest selection of properties in the area I was looking at, and I felt spoilt for choice. The house I booked was exactly as described, well appointed and super clean. Really pleased.

Small yet lovely typical Parisian flat with windows giving toward a quite courtyard. The host waited over an hour due to flight delay to receive me, very nice ☺️

I am a host with PLUM GUIDE. They do not pay. They LIE and send images of money in transit but the money doesn’t hit the bank within the 36-72 business days like they claim. They pretend that we haven’t entered our bank information correctly EVEN when I copied and pasted EVERYTHING TWICE. Their hours are on BST so good luck for support. Apparently, the finance person doesn’t take calls. STAY AWAY

We loved the house! It was absolutely beautiful and so tastefully designed and furnished. It was very spacious and well-stocked with everything you could need for a holiday at Lake Como. The location was both the biggest advantage, and the biggest disadvantage. On the plus side, the house is located directly by the lake so swimming was just a few steps away as was the ferry. On the negative side, parking was very difficult and the only spot we could find took us almost an hour to get and was far away, which meant we had to carry our bags down multiple flights of stairs. We actually ended up moving our car to an indoor parking garage in Como so that when we left the property, we could take the ferry without having to walk back up to the car with our bags. If you don't have a lot of luggage, or if you are arriving without a car, it's fine. If you have even a few bags though, the location can be tricky. Other than that, the house was a dream.

The flat is very well located in the Gracia neighbourhood, I would want to stay there again and again when I visit Barcelona. The house is pleasant and the flat as described: Tastefully and cosily furnished, everything has been thought of, the kitchen is well equipped, you have space for your luggage, you can wash. There are two bakeries round the corner, one traditional and over 100 years old, the other 100% gluten-free, a dream for us! There are lots of good restaurants, buses and a metro station within walking distance. Only the pull-out sofa bed is not very comfortable.

The apartment is unique with an old world flavor but well equipped with modern conveniences. It's situated in a historic and lively area with attractions and amenities nearby. The hosts are extremely accommodating and helpful in sharing resources, restaurants and tips for a great experience.

Apartment was close to the subway, which is the best mode of transportation. Some nice restaurants and options for groceries. The a/c is a whirlpool unit that the traveler/guest needs to setup (put hose out the window and setup drainage. I personally did not like that the setup was my responsibility. The point of contact to enter the apartment was very nice and helpful but did not speak English. The host left a bottle of wine and some snacks for us which was a very nice touch. I would have liked instructions in English on the how to of the washer/dryer unit. I did figure it out myself after a bit of trial and error. All in all was a great comfortable apartment for our week's stay!

This is such a good, reliable company. I have rented with them any times, in the UK, Europe and the US. Every time the property has been exactly as described, beautifully furnished and equipped. The hosts have been helpful and responsive and the Plum client care team have always been available to help and support if needed. I can’t recommend them highly enough.
