Jul 22,2024Our flat was clean and well-located, we enjoyed the high-ceiling of the main room and the privacy afforded by tree-tops. The Plum Guide team we worked with was very responsive and eager to help meet our requests, for things like additional kitchen items and a plumbing repair. It’s a long climb to get to the flat, and the bedrooms are directly under the roof, so we paid extra to have air conditioning units installed, but on the whole, we really enjoyed our long stay and would happily rent the flat again.

Jul 20,2024I will forever be a Plug Guide user. Their team was extremely helpful and communicative. They went above and beyond. As an international traveler, knowing a home had been vetted prior to our arrival allowed for extra peace of mind. AND, that was all prior to reaching our accommodations. Once we were there, the home far exceeded every expectation we had (location, personality, cleanliness, etc), which pushed our overall trip experience to the next level.

Jul 19,2024We will never use Plum Guide again! While the website presents good looking rental options and the booking process was simple and smooth, the overall experience was absolutely horrible. Upon arrival in Paris, the apartment host was unresponsive and we had to plead to get the apartment code/keys. When we arrived at the Paris apartment it was filthy and was well below acceptable standards. When we contacted Plum Guide to help us upon they simply told us to deal with the apartment host. Given that the apartment host was not helpful upon our arrival, we had zero confidence in dealing with the host. During our 10 day vacation we spent countless hours communicating either by phone or email with various Plum Guide representatives - none of whom wanted to resolve the issue with a refund. We also had to find alternative accommodations on our own - no help from Plum Guide. We will never ever use or recommend Plum Guide.

Jul 17,2024Very bad, listing did not indicate floor location of apartment and when I tried to cancel within less than 24 hours of booking, I was told that my reservation was not refundable. I ended up having to make another booking which had a floor location more to my liking and forfeiting the whole amount on the first booking that I didn’t use. So I ended up paying for 2 bookings and using only one. Just bad bad bad *Plum Guide updated their listing after the fact to cover their omission. Otherwise, there would have been no reason for me to message the property owner to find out the floor location. This is all documented in my Plum Guide account.*

Jul 15,2024I am only giving three stars because Plum Guide customer support was very responsive and helpful when we had a nightmare situation with the apartment we booked through Plum Guide. However, I would not book with Plum Guide again because of the experience we had. The listings on Plum Guide are not properly vetted and unfortunately, I would be concerned about trusting the quality in the future based on the experience I had with an apartment I booked for two weeks in Cannes, France. The apartment was managed by a third party and the listing on Plum Guide was very inaccurate compared to the reality of the apartment. Fortunately, Plum Guide was understanding and responsive and provided a 30% refund for the trouble, but it was overall not a good experience.

Jul 12,2024Worst experience. Our host demanded a 1000eu hold 3 days before we were to arrive .we had written statement saying paid in full. We were on a boat and had no way of complying with this last minute demand. Plum was unresponsive. We were forced to find alternative accommodations last minute in France. Very stressful . And they stole our $500. Never again!!

I couldn't find an app for Plum Guide, which would've been helpful. It's possible I missed it, but I checked the app store and didn't see one.

Jul 09,2024Fake bookings - they advertise propertie that aren't actually available and hand you over to an owner who will still be trying to get a better booking and will cancel yours if he or she gets one - a sheer waste of time that has cost me other bookings - its's a property dating site no more - they don't take a booking they just introduce you to someone who might allow you to stay in their place unless they get a better booking.

Jul 22,2024Thrilled with our very special flat in Paris! It was wonderful to be able to open the long antique windows and watch people walking along the Seine - not to mention the view of Notre Dame. The living area is just a charming as the fotos. Everything one could possibly need is provided and contact with the manager was quickly returned. It's our second fabulous experience with Plum Guide.
