Nov 16,2023We booked through Plum Guide twice, once in 2023, and once in ... spring 2020. We all know what happened then. Plum Guide showed great integrity. Even though our first booking contract contained nothing about cancelling due to a pandemic, and even though we had to cancel quite close to the booking, Plum Guide took it upon themselves to refund all of our money with no strings. We knew that when we next had the chance to take our dream European trip, we would book with Plum Guide. We're so glad we did. We spent several weeks reviewing potential properties. The Plum Guide reps were very attentive and helpful. In the end, we found the perfect apartment for our Parisian stay, exactly what we wanted in terms of space, amenities and location. I will be happy to recommend Plum Guide to anyone.

Nov 15,2023Great location, close to Isabelle Boulangerie, winner of the 2018 best croissant. Close to the Notre Dame, Pantheon, walk distance to Sain German . Place was spotless clean, quiet to sleep, great bed. The place looks as the pictures on the website. We will return for sure . We spent our 25th Anniversary. My husband and I , spent a wonderful 8 days in the space and Paris.

Nov 11,2023Like so many others on this site--they cancelled on us. We booked and paid in full for a four-week stay, five months in advance. Plum cancelled it on us 46 hours before Sunday arrival. We received a couple of emails late Friday night suggesting other (not suitable) places, but no ability to contact them via chat, email, their messaging system, telephone, or whatsapp the Saturday day before arrival to try to get any of these booked even if we wanted to. They said they don't do refunds, just book people into something the same or higher price. I have now asked for a prompt and complete refund, but they can't be reached on weekends via any method. If they don't confirm Monday they've sent the full refund, we're calling in the expensive attack lawyers. As others have noted, they seem to be just an extra agency on top of other rental agencies. If they propose a place to you, just search for it, and you'll find another way to get the same place with one fewer middlemen.

We found the description of the place we booked to be accurate. When the apartment we booked became unavailable due to needed repairs, we were offered an alternative solution that was acceptable. Also spoke with a representative who helped clear up a slight problem with my account. It was a pleasant, easy experience to use Plum Guide.

The listings available are varied in localization, size and price range - making it easy to select the best option for your stay. The flat we picked for our weekend trip to Paris was wonderful - from the decor to the area we were in, we really enjoyed having our own private space in the heart of the city, where it was easy to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit. The host was very friendly and it was easy to exchange details with him through the application - the whole process from our first touch-point up until our check-out was effortless. I definitely recommend using Plum over the “classic” sites for any booking!
