Jan 02,2024Despite good looking properties the availability calendars are woefully out of date. It takes days to get a response and it is always a ‘not available’. I wouldn’t trust them again. Shame.

The apartment is great, however the communication with the renter was not always easy: for example, it was not crystal clear how I could pay in advance the local tax, nor that the garage is VERY small, so much so that I actually had to park outside.

Jan 01,2024We rented an apartment, The Prizewinner, in Paris through the Plum Guide. The apartment is beautiful and spacious! The furnishings are excellent, beds are comfortable and the location can’t be beat. We needed maintenance once and the Plum Guide made it easy to communicate with the hostess. Renting out of the country can be very daunting but the Plum Guide helped us feel secure that we would receive exactly as represented.

Dec 30,2023I tried to book a home in Paris for 1 week , I was supposed to receive notification within 24-72 hours, I still have not received any notice that my booking was approved and my charge is still on hold leaving me in limbo . Please let me know one way or the other if my booking was approved

Dec 30,2023I stumbled upon Plum as I was planning my family annual vacation and decided to give it a try. As it was my first time, I was quite skeptical. So happy I decided to give it a try. I booked 2 apartments- in London and another in Rome. Each apartment was exactly as in the pictures. What I loved most about Plum was the ‘hard truths’ section that told you all you needed to know. At first, getting a couple of hosts to respond to my questions was a bit stressful but then someone from Plum stepped in and helped with communication and the rest was a breeze. I’ve now found my go to site!

Dec 28,2023This is an excellent company. We booked the most beautiful 2 bed room house on Crete called Pasiphaë . The spacious property was exactly as described on the website and suited our needs for a fortnight of quiet relaxation. The setting was wonderful and an easy drive from Chania airport. We spent many a happy hour by the pool surrounded by pine trees watching the swifts performing their aerial gymnastics. The house was cleaned, beds changed and fresh towels provided every few days so, although it was self catering, we had little to do. Absolute bliss! Our local taverna was a short walk up the hill to the charming village of Maia where we were warmly welcomed. We will definitely use Plum Guide again as it's a trustworthy company with fabulous properties, great customer service and staff that responded quickly whenever we needed their help. Overall a fantastic experience.

Dec 25,2023A beautiful villa with all of the modern amenities and wonderful outdoor areas for eating and relaxing. The bedrooms are spacious and private. The infinity pool and the views are stunning. The only negative was the lighting in the bathrooms, which was too low. The host was kind, accommodating and very responsive to our needs. I would highly recommend this property.

Dec 18,2023We worked with Plum Guide to identify the perfect apartment for our annual 3-weeks-in-Paris visit. The process was easy, the pictures were realistic, and I especially appreciated the section on "what we like" and things to be aware of. There were no surprises!! We stayed in the Marais - Wisdom and Beauty was what they called the property. We especially appreciated the fact that there were 2 bathrooms in a 1-bedroom apartment. The kitchen was easy to use (e.g., induction cooktop; fully stocked with dishes and cookware). The layout of the apartment was smart! With very high ceilings and windows that looked out onto a courtyard, there was plenty of light in the whole apartment. And because the apartment didn't face the street, it was wonderfully quiet. Bottom line - great service from Plum Guide, and a wonderful, comfortable stay in Paris

Dec 18,2023Communication before my arrival was great. My hosts were very helpful with recommendations and even helping me get around. For a solo trip as an African female I felt safe. Facilities were gorgeous in person (as I hoped they would be after seeing the online photos) and I hope to visit with more people soo!

Loved the website--photos, user friendly, etc. Once reservation booked, I had difficulty seeing my payments,etc. In fact the website showed my villa paid in full but after the trip I was notified I still owed the balance. I was confused because it showed 2 credit card transactions but not the 2nd payment. I gladly settled the account once notified of the error by Plum Guide! Also, not good handoff between the website, local contact, and the villa owners. Disconnect with villa owners on what was included in the Plum Guide rental fee (cleaning, use of air conditioning, etc). I had such a great experience once I was able to communicate directly with the owners. They were tremendous help with all services, transportation, etc. All in all a fantastic experience and would use Plum Guide again.
