We had a great experience with the Plum Guide and had a fantastic holiday! At our holiday destination we especially loved: The extremely helpful and friendly staff. They gave us valuable tipps and helped us with all our queries The breakfast and the fresh bread as well as the great choice of extras on sale in the fridge and cupboard. And ofcourse the thoughtful wine and cheese welcome as well as the easter present The very luxuriously and tastefully decorated appartment. The perfekt cleaning every day. The lovely thick towels and bathrobes, the comfy beds!
I used Plum Guide several times in 2022 for accommodation and found the platform to be reliable and consistent. The properties were well matched to their descriptions. The site is easy to use, staff helpful and when , on one occasion, requiring a refund Plum Guide were honest and prompt. When heading to Europe/UK this company is my first port of call for accommodation.

Easy to book. Apartment was as described. Very comfortable, with a good size refrigerator and freezer. Washer and dryer was a bonus. Great location, near attractions and grocery, cafes. Would stay there again when in Rome.
The customer service is excellent! Cristina Fonollosa was really helpful with the onboarding and following this Lillie Mitchell has done a great job in helping me to optimise my properties on Plum Guide. The service is extremely professional and at the same time very friendly and responsive.
The staff was awesome. Beginning with helping me choose a rental to answering my many questions. Don’t let the time change bother you. My questions were always answered in a timely fashion. Our rental was great. London was great. What set the experience apart was the Plum Guide experience.

Plum Guide is a small company that only accepts rentals that are above and beyond. We recently experienced both Plum Guide and another home rental company on our trip to Italy. Plum Guide had the easiest check-in process and the apartment was lovely. The "other" rental company had a terrible check-in process and we were locked out of our rental. I will be looking for Plum Guide rentals from now on for all of my travel.
The Red House is beautifully designed and meticulously cared for! Lots of fun and interesting little artistic touches, too. Good sized bedrooms and lovely bed linens and towels. Kitchen very well equipped. Gabe is responsive to his guests' needs and requests and justifiably takes great pride in the apartment and his support. Love the fact that there are no surprises - unexpected fees, cleaning, etc on Plum Guide. The whole experience was top notch.
The Operetta Apartment - Paris Booking process was fine, however downhill from there ! Plum Guide claim to check every property throughly !! Owner not very responsive ! I had the need to contact on 2 occasions prior to our stay, on both occasions response was far from prompt !! Given that I had booked this property over a year before my stay ! 48 hours prior to my stay I had not received check in / entry instructions ! Plum Guide were extremely slow to address this and infact !! expected me to call the owner ! which I found to be very bizarre !! my booking was with Plum Guide !! I found this really odd and concerning !! The situation was eventually rectified !! However, oddly I had no contact from Plum on day of arrival and given my issues !! it was really poor of them not to check that I had gained entry okay !! really poor customer service ! Our stay : Apartment was in need of attention ! bathroom very poor with dangerous broken floor tiles! paint peeling off the walls ! Bed was really poor !! listed as a double!! possibly for very low height people !!very very flimsy had been fixed together before !! slats broken !! cheap cheap not fit for purpose bed ! Guest wardrobe ! wardrobe !! I would use the word wardrobe loosely ! it was full of linens and had a tacky laminated poster on the door advising not to touch linens !! No mattress or pillow protectors ** yellow stained pillows ** the apartment was in an office block with a business name on door !! again odd ! Overlooked by offices and really noisy from early am with staff up and down stairs/ in out of lift ! Light bulb in lounge needed replacing as the ceiling was really high and would need ladders to change, I therefore messaged owner the day prior leaving asking that it was fixed for the next guest, I also flagged that the bathroom floor was dangerous and unhygienic! and that the poor quality bed’s legs eventually collapsed !! and needed an Allan key to tighten ! To date 10 days on !! they have not responded !! which speaks volumes !! I contacted Plum Guide when I returned home to voice my disappointment and raise my concerns ** I provided pictures of the issues I had raised ** the response was poor !! did not even mention the issues I had flagged !! Simply said thanks for pointing out ! will contact owner ! Good luck with that !! I responded to their email and advised I was not happy with their un empathetic response and the fact that they really did not appear to be bothered ** not acceptable and needs addressing for other guests ** Still waiting for their response !! I have booked properties for many years direct with owners, with booking sites etc etc, this company runs their business in a very bizarre way !! this apartment was not good value at all !! Very disappointing experience !! & I certainly would not recommend Plum Guide at all !! Customer service 0/10 ! Oddly for me as I research before booking !! I wish I had taken the time to look at the reviews on here prior to booking !! Would have seen the red flags ! i.e no customer reviews on the individual property ! Plum need to follow Airbnb policy of renter being allowed 24 hours to raise concerns before owner receives payment !! Was in France for Rugby World Cup and fortunately all of our other accommodation booked was perfect. I am sure one of Plum Guides many customer service reps will respond with blurb etc that it will be addressed !! unfortunately I have had to resort to this action as neither owner or Plum could be bothered to resolve or respond ! It’s a shame images cannot be attached to this review as my points would be visible for all to see !! Of note please do not insult me with your favourite line of response ! which I have cut and pasted to save you time cutting & pasting ! same response every time !! It is incredibly disappointing to receive home quality complaints and to see that this caused disruption to your trip is truly disheartening. I want to state again that this is something that we take very seriously and I can see that this was reported to our internal Quality team to review the home in question. We never want guests to experience any issues while in stay and I apologise that we were not been able to show you a true Plum experience. I do hope that in our agents follow up you felt that we took your feedback onboard and that this helped to improve this for you. Thank you again for taking time to share your experience.
The location was fantastic for exploring Rome and Roberto, the host, was very accommodating upon our arrival, showing us the workings of the house and the shops around the neighborhood
Great beautifully designed and decorated home. Pretty,private balcony Paolo is a very helpful host. Apartment is in a nice neighborhood with grocery store and restaurants nearby. Not really walking distance to major sites except Vatican so plan on using taxis frequently.
Love that plum guide only provides listings of the best of the best. Easier to sort through and other similar sites.
This is the second time that we have booked our holiday through Plum Guide. We have found that the choice of accommodation is good and that we have been kept well informed with information and a telephone number for assistance should it be needed. We would use them again.

Curved Lines Lucca is a beautiful, stylish city apartment, perfectly quiet with a lovely garden sitting aerea and a first floor balcony ,suitable for breakfast. The apartment was very well kept and everything was in perfect working order. The location , in a quieter part of Lucca, is excellent. Everything is reachable on foot. The on site parking lot was an additional plus. Communications with Plum / members of the management company of the apartment during booking process until check-in were efficient and customer-friendly. A slight misunderstanding regarding an alleged damage after leaving the apartment, could be solved quickly and satisfactorily with the assistance of the Plum Host Care Team. A big thank you again to Juan for his assistance. PS:The only negative aspect of our stay were the moskitoes in the evening, which made the garden sitting aerea not a very attractive experience. Some additional coat hooks in the sleeping aerea would be helpful
The White Sparkle apartment in Rome was our first experience with The Plum Guide and we couldn't had been more pleased. Our host Lucia was gracious and so helpful and obliging. The apartment was even better than the photos on TPG's website. Also the location was extremely convenient to most of Rome's main attractions. I'd definitely recommend The Plum Guide and White Sparkle to anyone looking to stay in Rome
This is our second time using a Plum Guide property and, as before, it was a fantastic experience. Our apartment was extremely comfortable and felt like home as soon as we had arrived. We will definitely continue recommending and using Plum Guide in the future.

Oct 20,2023Amazing from the get go! So many options of villas with all of them absolutely beautiful! It was so easy to book and the service was amazing. We had an issue with the villa owner when we arrived however plum guide stayed in contact with us throughout and made sure we were sorted. Highly recommend !
