Dec 14,2023Our stay at one of the Plum Guide locations (in Paris) was perfect! I was a bit hesitant at first as I hadn't ever heard of a friend using them in replacement for other home-stay-situations, but honestly it was one of the nicest accommodation I've ever had the pleasure of staying in. The place was gorgeous, clean, central and we felt like locals. I will not hesitate to use Plum Guide again in future and am actually looking forward to other luxury stays!

Dec 12,2023A very nice flat, in one of the most charming areas of Rome, close to everything you may want to see. Hosting service impeccable. My children loved to sleep upstairs with their own bathroom. They also had fun with the TV projector connected to Apple TV. Repairing the lift could help who has to bring heavy luggage.

Dec 08,2023Any booking agency that doesn't show the exact address of accomodation is highly suspect. Hotels, Bed and Breakfasts will show you exact address location. Instead we get this: "For security reasons we are unable to give the full address" That's just bogus.

Dec 04,2023Had my reservation cancelled two times in a row, super frustrating, seems their list is not up to date, and that the owners sometimes don't even know that their properties are listed on the site. Even if they do have an easy client service, the fact is that they can't guarantee your reservation even when it is confirmed, so you can never be in peace of mind that your rental is going to work out. They give this kind of option to the owners that can cancel you reservation anytime with no penalties when you have a very hard restriction most of the times, differently from other sites that don't allow that to the owners. So even if the properties seem very nice, stay away, or you can probably have great disturbance in your plans!

Nov 30,2023We booked a holiday flat via plum guide. In the website it looked beautiful, airy, spacious and inviting. When we arrived it was dark, filthy, smelly and a far cry from the description or photos. Also, there were very heavy construction work in the front of the building. That would be something to tell us about no doubt, but we didn't know anything about it. The only reason I'm giving plum guide 2 stars instead of 1 is because they were very responsive and they were trying to help. It felt that the staff cared and wanted to help. But, bottom line is that we only got 20% refund, which is a joke and it took too long to get it. We spent 1 night there and had to pay a lot of money to find a new place to stay for the rest of our 7 nights holiday. (a couple with 2 small kids).
