Everything was great. The driver wouldn't give me tape & bubble wrap, which I desperately needed. But the service has been amazing. They helped me in a quick turnaround. They were patient with me and answered all my questions.

This is just a quick review - due to time constraints. We have had our whole house packed and shipped with PSS. It is yet to leave the UK, but I am now shipping two extra boxes to New Zealand with PSS - and the service I received for these little extra's is outstanding and swift. I called yesterday to ask if I could send two extra boxes. Rob (who has been amazing copmmunicating with us and being a saint for the past 18 months) passed me on to Tom who swiftly gave me an excellent quote. The lovely Steve has just dropped off the boxes with tape and has kindly agreed to come at the crack of dawn next week - as per my request - to collect the boxes before I depart for New Zealand. What a lovely man - bending over backwards to accommodate me. Rob was superb from start to finish. The only gripe I have is a product I wanted to ship, but the packers said this was not allowed. Despite me asking them to pack it as I had checked NZ custom laws, they did not pack these items. I then received written confirmation from NZ customs that these items were fine to ship, So I am irritated as I now have to post this myself at extra expense. The packing boys were very friendly and hard workers. I will update once my container arrives in NZ! But thank you PSS for a competitive rate (WAY cheaper than so many competitors) and for answering my never ending list of questions (Rob!!)

Good service from the staff that collected the shipment
Every time I had a problem that I needed help with (questions about paperwork, questions about shipment, need to change pick up location, missing paperwork) I was given prompt and helpful advise that solved the matter. Everyone I spoke to was kind and polite and made sure to explain the matter fully to make everything clear. I was never left confused or worried.

From the beginning the good communication from the company was brilliant. I had problems downloading forms and Salma Ishmael was so helpful, her customer skills were A1. Pick up went to plan and the courier was helpful. PSS are a great company and competitive prices, will use them again. Thank you.

Fantastic crew. Well organised although not always sure which person was responsible for what but in the end the important thing was that there was always someone available to answer any queries so very happy. The actual crew were all superb! Everything worked out at the right time.
This was not a good experience. We used PSS to move multiple boxes containing personal items to Italy. According to the representatives I spoke to, the boxes should have only taken a few days to arrive, but two weeks later, we were still waiting. When we chased PSS, we found out that, unknown to us, the boxes were still kept in PSS storage because they “were trying a new system” (representative’s words). This was not communicated to us, we were never asked if we wanted to participate in this trial - we would have declined as we had urgency for the boxes to reach their destination. When the boxes were finally sent, we started getting a barrage of emails from DHL. The emails were all in Italian, and PSS didn’t provide any support. We understood the gist, which was that they required more information and there were additional costs. When we asked PSS for clarifications, they provided no help at all, other than sending us DHL Italy phone number and leaving us to our own devices to sort out the issue. It took another 10 days to finally get everything sorted and we ended up paying way more than we were initially quoted. The whole process was needlessly cumbersome and complicated. Also, had we known that PSS simply uses DHL, we would have contacted them directly, as we had to sort out the whole process ourselves anyway.
Professional prompt service.
Awful experience. Used PSS for our move from Manchester to Melbourne received quote which was very reasonable, but then like other people on here have mentioned when you actually book you get all the extras added on, admittedly some optional . Then just before the actual date of the move we get hit with another charge, they can't get container to our house so have to charge us extra to take everything to their warehouse and then pack container there, which surely when they did the survey they should of know, wish we had cancelled then but it was too late. On the day of packing my in laws were overseeing as we had to fly out early, they were told rules had changed and anything with a battery couldn't be shipped, so batteries for all power tools, Dyson hand vac etc had to be removed and left behind, which is a couple of hundred Pounds worth, they rang us and when I spoke to the packer he said rules had changed Monday, this was Thursday, and I could of taken them in our luggage, which I would of done if they had bothered to communicate change as we didn't fly till the Tuesday night. We knew there was an over spill so had left instructions of what to leave if didn't fit but packing supervisor on day assured in laws everything would fit and actually had volume spare Great news for once! Then a couple of days later guess what? phone call to say not everything would fit in container and we would have to pay £400+ to ship over separately, because they ignored our priority list and loaded items we said could be left instead, and we don't know what is in the wardrobes that are left behind we have no choice but to pay. Dreading to see what extra charges they come up with when everything actually arrives in Australia. And not sure what the point of our move manager was she hasn't managed anything most of, if not all, these issues could of been avoided with adequate supervision. Edit-18/10 guess what another additional charge for £80 before it's even been shipped
