Feb 06,2025Was lovely meeting Dean Wassell, to show me around my potential future home(s)!! Dean has always been very polite, punctual, and extremely helpful when meeting me for viewings. Whenever I have had a question or needed to speak to Dean outside of viewings, he responds to me straight away. I think all agents could learn a thing or two from Dean! If ever I were selling my home, I would most definitely request for Dean to be my agent to help me do so. His friendly way, makes the stress of house hunting feel a lot less stressful. Thank you Dean for taking the time to show me around the properties of interest to me. I would suggest that Dean receive a promotion based on his work ethic and level of customer service. Feb 06,2025I felt an uncontrollable need to report on my PurpleBricks journey, it has been a dreadful experience from start to near completion, but I’ll bullet point to summarise. • hard sold the initial package via a sales chappy whilst he pulled over in a lay-by. • being hard sold the package, I wasn’t told (either did I read) that PurpleBricks is a 6 month contract. • had to drop asking price after 6 months as otherwise PurpleBricks would no longer market property (property sold immediately only the solicitors used from their ‘recommended panel’ addressed me by my road name, not surname, causing sale to collapse) • glorious hindsight, if you pay upfront for a service… they have no interest in providing a service. • honestly I was contacted by a ‘sales progresser’ lady, never heard a peep from this lady again. • all in all terrible experience and since my unfortunate dealings with PurpleBricks, I have heard many shared the dreadful experience. Good luck guys with choosing your estate agents, the worst of a curious bunch this lot!

Can only say that he was fantastic the whole way through, really nice guy who never had an issue accommodating anything we needed. Had booked day of work as well would have expected some sort of communication before the valuation bay came and went without any contact. Have decided to go with someone else now.

Feb 05,2025Be aware people - it is not free to sell with purple bricks. You pay upfront for their "services" such as photographer, to list, agent. All the things a normal agency does for free beforehand. If you do not sell your house with purple bricks they still get paid and you will be out of pocket. Please just go with your local agents and sell properly!
