Feb 04,2025I have never experienced worse customer service! We initially put our house up for sale with Purple Brick in February 2023. The Sales agent did a very good job in selling us a lie! Since the minute we signed we had little to no communication from her or any other team member, the sale of our house fell through 3 times with Purple Brick because they didn't complete any checks to make sure the people they were selling to were actually legit and able to pay for the house! We tried to contact them over and over again and each time we either got no response or a "No we can't sorry" response. As soon as they knew they'd secured our money, they didn't care for customer service. Finally we had no choice but to put our house up for sale with another agent and if not before, this is when we realised we made a huge mistake trusting this company! We were then forwarded an invoice from Purple Brick, over £500 more than we initially agreed to pay! When asked for a break down of the invoice, we were advised this was the only breakdown we were getting and had no further contact from the sales lady. I later joined a live chat with Purple Brick, where the team member gave me a set price on the amount they charge for the services, I asked if they could increase this and she said no. When I asked for this information by email the live chat was ended, I tried a further 3 times and got ended before getting through to a different agent, who said he would ensure this information was sent.. Surpise, it never reached me. I have made numerous complaints to Purple Brick with only one response,with no evidence on that they do not believe this is the service I have received and offered to knock £50.00 off of my bill!! Since I responded to them early LAST YEAR I have heard nothing back, until my partner has had a debt collector contact him for the over due payment. To add to this, the debt collectors will not discuss this with me because Purple Brick have decided that this debt lies only in my partners name.. I am now waiting for contact back from the Ombudsmen to hopefully help get this headache sorted or atleast a call back from someone at this awful company.
