I feel like I need to write this review in the hope it will pre warn others before parting with a lot of money. We saw a car advertised by Quality Part X on eBay & auto trader for £18,000. That’s a lot of money to most people. I called enquiring about the car and asked if there was any damage to note, I was told there was none and the car was in great condition. I then ask for a virtual tour video be sent to me as we lived a fair distance away, I had to chase this twice before it was sent. The video I received was pretty poor quality and didn’t really show any close details of the car. I noticed on the MOT history a tyre was on the legal limit which I asked to be changed as a condition of the sale. I was assured that service history was good and based on their assurances of the car being in good condition I reserved the car. We arranged a time to visit the dealership with the intention to drive it away that day. We then drove 1.5 hours with a baby to collect the car. When we arrived our car was in a very congested yard. We were made to wait 20 minutes and whilst we waited my partner went to check out the vehicle, he identified a big chunk of the grill had been ripped out, a large dent in the boot, a poor paint job on the passenger door which had been sprayed with silicon or polish to hide the poor repair. We were then taken to the “showroom” which is a poorly lit garage painted white and full of cars. The car was reversed up to the wall, we assumed to hide the damage on the boot. The interior was filthy, there was a large rip in the rear seat leather. When we questioned this they said they had the same spec car in stock and they’d switch the seat around. When questioned about the missing chunk of grill they said the same and it was an hour to swap with another car on site. When you’re spending £18k on a car you don’t expect to be paying for bodge jobs to cover defects. The engine bay was filthy also, we’re talking 4 year old car, 50k on the clock, £18,000! Not an old banger! When asked why the car wasn’t cleaned considering we’d asked to drive it away if we were happy he said “it’ll take 20 minutes to clean”. The replacement tyre I’d asked for was a part worn and we were assured that all the alloys had been refurbished however there was clearly visible corrosion on 2 of them, they had not been refurbished. We were honestly gobsmacked. We told them that we no longer wanted the car and we wanted the deposit refunded, to which they replied “be we have other cars you might want”. As if we would consider buying a car from a dealer like this. I’m so so glad we didn’t arrange home delivery and we only wasted a 3 hour round trip, not £18,000. If they are willing to try and hide/bodge so many defects cosmetically, I dread to think what is going on mechanically. I’ll be surprised if these guys don’t end up on rogue traders one day, honestly! Please be careful, I could have easily missed some of the defects if my partner didn’t spot them all.

We received great service from Quality Part x. the whole team was very friendly and extremely helpful. John showed us the car and took us for a test drive. Pam handled all the paperwork and it was a very easy process. Would definitely recommend Quality Part x!

Done a online enquiry to get a part exchange quote done on my vehicle and within 30 minutes i got a call i answered they hung up so i rang back explaining what just happened they went on to ask what my equiry is and i explained ive done it all online ect but they still wanted all my details again as i gave them my details i heard a employee in the background say (that one was the one i rang) i was then put on a 10 second hold so you would think they would put the call through to whoever rang me with my details but no this employee decided to try take me through everything again i have to then find the reg of the car i was considering to buy for them to not even talk about the part exchange but tell me i have to pay 100 non refund deposit for the car without even telling me a pricing for the part exchange or even talking about it which was all stated in the enquiry the employee on the phone knew nothing about the car i was wanting part exchange but didnt care just wanted a non refund deposit i explained its a 2 hour drive so wanted a rough estimate before making the journey yet all they cared about was deposit and booking me in to view the car i wanted to buy. i had to explain multiple times that i needed a rough quote and they just said my collegue will call you back and that was 5 days ago wouldnt recommend the hassle of it

Purchased a Jeep for £23500.00 Sales superb. Car dashboard lit up with warning lights after 4 days. Stopped using it on advice from Halfords, took a week and my booked it into Main dealer for investigation before they told me I had to bring it back for them to check, they assured me it was ok to drive. I took it back in total 7 times, each time they fobbed me off with an excuse, first a part needed, next a regen needed, Mechanic off sick, run diagnostic check, finally gave them the car for two weeks while on holiday, only to find on return they had not even looked at it. Only then did they supply me with a rubbish BMW to use while they were "repairing it". On all occasions they never once returned any phone call, and reluctantly only replied to e mails when sent repeatedly. I asked for my money back right from the start, only to be told they would not do that as they could repair the car. Eventually when I demanded my money back, or take them to court the threats started. They even resorted to physical threats. They said I had exasperated the fault by driving the car, again they continuously told me it was ok to drive. As a disabled person I had not choice but to drive it. I eventually got my money back after 5 months less £1000.00 for fair usage ??? 4 days uneventful driving is not fair usage. It took another week of pestering to get my personal property back which was in the car when they took it in while I was away. I am still trying to get back my cost and expenses that I incurred throughout. Looks like we are going to court.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS GARAGE! We recently purchased a £18k car from this garage remotely. We were assured the car had been fully checked and was sound mechanically and structurally. When first taking the car out is was obvious something was wrong with the passenger side front wheel from the sound and feel (I am no mechanic!). At this point I was already nervous about the alleged checks which had been carried out and assurances made. The soonest I could get an appointment with an independent garage to have an independent check of the vehicle was a month after I purchased it and low and behold, it was identified that the wheel bearing had to be replaced. When I raised the issue with quality part x to ask for some help footing the sizeable bill to rectify a problem which existed before the vehicle was sold me, it was declined outright. These people are crooks and will knowingly sell you a vehicle with existing faults-find another garage

I purchased a Ford Grand Tourneo Connect on 4th March 24 online from Quality Part X Ltd. The delivery date was moved 3 times with several excuses, one being they had used some wrong cleaner which had taken the paint from the door handle and would need to go into the workshop. It was eventually delivered on Tuesday 12th March 24 at 15:30. It was pouring with rain and has been for weeks. On checking the car this weekend 6th April 24, because I can now drive after having surgery, the following is what's wrong with the car. 1. Glove box is hanging off as only 1 pin holding it in, 1 pin is missing. 2. The paintwork on passenger side rear wing is all scratched and dull. 3. Rear windscreen wash not working. 4. Rear number plate not fitted correctly and flapping. 5. All black plastic trim on passenger side windows are covered in white stains which we cannot remove. 6. On drivers side rear door, raised trim panel on bottom of door is lifting off. 7. The car was supposed to have had a Vehicle Inspection Report carried out by the AA. I am doubtful of this. 8. I purchased my last car online and it arrived spotless, just like a new car and no problems whatsoever. This car was supposed to have been prepped before delivery but all inside doors really grubby and alloy wheels covered in brake dust and still unable to get them looking right. 9. No handbook supplied with the car and Gabriel at Quality Part X refused to supply one when we rang them. 10. One remote control key not working. I would not recommend this garage. I wish now that I had gone to a main dealer. See it before you buy it. Gaynor Whiting Bristol
