My partner and I just returned from a weeks stay at The Harestail in Exmoor and we can't recommend it highly enough. The cabin was stunning with amazing views and dog friendly. The customer service was absolutely brilliant as well, James and the team couldn't do enough for us and made sure we had a comfortable and memorable stay. We feel well and truly rested and can't wait to go back again soon :)
It was exactly as we had expected, and we had high expectations! Fire was lit and the cabin smelled amazing on arrival. Everything you need, super comfy bed, stunning views. We stayed in the Sparrow and it was lovely and private. Would definitely love to go back! If there was one thing to make it better I would suggest the provide bathrobes, but other than that couldn’t fault a thing
I've just returned from a 2 night break in The Sparrow. Just wow! If you want to have a break from the world this is the place to go. Surrounded by fields, no WiFi, I had limited phone signal to. AMAZING! The cabins have everything you could possibly need. The walks are lovely. The outside bath amongst the stars was just sublime. Just myself, my dog, and my Kindle bliss! The pizza oven was a fab touch, too. I highly recommend.
My husband and I have just returned from a 2 nights stay in The Wren and it was wonderful. Our trip did exactly what we needed it to do - give us some well earned rest! We really enjoyed the cabin which was well equipped and beautifully decorated with high quality amenities. The bath tub was absolutely phenomenal. The grounds in which the cabins are situated are just beautiful, the only neighbours being a field of sheep and some funny pheasants! The only thing that let our trip down was that we did one of the recommended walks to the Tally Ho Pub, which when we got there, was closed!! One of the downsides of going in January I guess!
For my bf's birthday we went two nights at The Sparrow, the cabin and the landscape are incredible. However, we moved from Barcelona to live the experience of the cabin, especially the bathtub since for us it is something very special, and no water came out of the tap. We were very disappointed since we did not understand how something like the bathtub which is quite an outstanding element from The Sparrow nobody checked that it worked. They could not solve it for us and we have returned home without the experience. Likewise, the cabin is beautiful and very well equipped and I hope we can come back to use the bathtub :)
Incredible couple of days spent in the dreamiest location. Would 100% recommend. Every detail was spot on.
Returning from a wonderful 2 night stay in The Wren. A beautiful cabin, decorated to perfection, everything you would need for a full switch off. Located in a peaceful idyllic forest, with breathtaking views. The indoor log burner heats up the cabin in no time and keeps you warm all night long and the outdoor roll top bath tub was perfect for late night star gazing. Can’t wait to visit again
Just returned home from a wonderful 2 night stay with my husband. The cabin was beautifully decorated and very clean. The surroundings were beautiful and peaceful and we really enjoyed our stay here. We would definitely return and have already recommended to friends
A beautiful stay to totally switch off. It was grey and raining most of our weekend trip but being tucked away in our cabin was exactly what we needed. Views are breath taking and I made sure to use the outdoor tub everyday. Such a special place. They’ve thought of everything - shampoo, conditioner, olive oil, coffee, sugar, under bed storage.
Our cabin was everything we hoped it would be and more. From the beautiful bedding, cosy fire and breath taking views, every aspect of our stay was just perfect. We were so sad to leave and cannot wait to come back. P.s. R&W team, please consider a Yorkshire or Derbyshire location for your next venture - we’d love a local stay 🤞🏻
Amazing location, so peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful cabin. Highly recommended!
Loved our stay. Felt very high quality interior. Super comfy bed. Really private and quiet which is exactly what we wanted Lovely walk to the local town for lunch
Beautiful location for a romantic cabin retreat for two. Great amenities and customer service. A truly unforgettable stay.
The location makes this a really special place - we stayed in the Wren and the views were just beautiful. Watching the bats at twilight was a highlight, as was having a bath outdoors with only the sheep watching. Our dog needed to be tethered all the time outside because of the sheep and pheasants so worth binging a lead you can easily secure. While the pizza cooking didn't work out for us (we couldn't get the oven lit before dark and some ingredients not fresh), Rest + Wild were great and refunded us without question.
We had an amazing stay at The Wren at Rest and Wild in Shropshire. The cabin was so cosy and warm, even without the fire on. We had everything we needed for a fabulous mini break. The outside bath was so liberating. The views and privacy of the cabin were fantastic and we'd recommend it to anyone who wants peace and quiet. Thanks Rest and Wild for a much needed break.
It was simply my favourite holiday. The cabin is stunning, stylish, cosy, with all the amenities necessary for a cabin holiday. The grounds were beautiful… waking up in a forest… the outside bath, fire pit, and picnic table were amazing to experience. My dog loved it too. Highly recommend Rest + Wild
Came across R+W online while looking for a city bream for my partner’s birthday, and truly cannot say enough good things about our experience. Breathtaking views, wonderful amenities, excellent value for money- we will 100% be returning. Thank you so much!
A lovely restful few days in a glorious setting. Exactly what we needed to allow ourselves time to reset. One of the most peaceful places we’ve ever been.
We just spent two nights in the Robin and it was the most relaxing and idyllic mini break. The cozy cabin offers everything you need in stunning surroundings. I'd argue that the experience is even better in less than ideal weather as curling up in the incredibly comfortable bed with a toasty fire going and a cuppa was heavenly. We bathed outdoors under the stars and again in the rain. Ludlow was a short drive away and is a great little market town to explore. We loved watching the sheep and the pheasants in the fields. We brought our dog and there were no issues at all with the roaming livestock. We loved our stay so much we are already planning our next trip back to R+W. Our only regret is that we didn't stay for 3 nights.

Feb 21,2023We stayed in the Sparrow cabin - had the most amazing 5 day break, everything you needed has been thought of, the bath in your own woodland made it extra special, we will definitely be coming back to this special place in the woods.
