May 21,2022I think the message I sent direct to Rest and Wild sums up my review… … My boyfriend and I stayed with you for the last two nights in the Nightingale, for my 40th birthday. I have never stayed somewhere so perfectly beautiful,stylish,homely, wonderful. I’ve slept better than I have in weeks due to the beautiful cabin and complete silence. We honestly couldn’t find a single fault with our cabin or our outside space. It is truly blissful. I’m not one to usefully leave feedback but feel it is so important to do so when the place, standard and service has just blown me away. British at its best. We’ll be back (I’ve just signed up to hear about your new site) and will be recommending you to everyone we know!! Many thanks Kate Sent from my iPhone

May 19,2022Where to start. These huts created by Tara and team are a slice of magic. The huts have been done so beautifully and are crazily comfy and stylish. The beds are gorgeous and every detail for cooking indoors and outdoors has been thought about. The hut sits perfectly in the insanely gorgeous landscape. Having an early morning Bath with the sun coming up was so special and to be cherished. Rest and wild really does sum up this place. I have come back totally refreshed and feel reconnected. May 08,2022The cabins were very well decorated and the scenery was fantastic! Great to wake up to the lambs running around outside and the birds singing away! The only downside was the waterless loo started to smell, although was very grateful to have it inside the cabin! Also was not able to make a pizza as the deli was closed due to bank holiday! It was a disappointment but the fire pit, outdoor bath and beautiful walks made up for it! Definitely recommend and look forward to coming back!! Thank you for a lovely time away!

May 05,2022What a stunning location to relax and unwind! The outdoor bath was heavenly. Had such a lovely time switching off and relaxing, and the views out of the big window made staying in just as good! The sheep were entertaining and was lovely waking up to unbridled birdsong. The waterless loo and the lack of sockets for a hairdryer was the only downside (paid for a power bank and my 120W travel hairdryer was too much for it rendering it a waste of £20). The toilet started to smell a bit after a few days but still better to have an indoor toilet than not. Really appreciated the stylish and cosy decor though, every detail had been thought through. Would recommend!

May 03,2022This was my second stay at Rest + Wild and it was just as good if not better than the first time....I had forgotten how beautiful the view is and how fabulous the cabins are, with high quality and attention to detail throughout. The sheep and lambs were very entertaining and came to visit....I think the lambs were trying to work out if my Labrador was just a strange coloured lamb. Both dog and lambs got on very well together relaxing in the sunshine. Please note that you are required to keep your dog on a lead at all times, because of all of the animals, but that is not much of a hardship in such lovely surroundings and curious lambs for neighbours. The surrounding estate is great to walk in and Ludlow is very close. The Ludlow Food Centre (only a few miles away) is a great place to find some fabulous local delicacies to eat back at the cabin or the food hampers from Rest + Wild are very good too. I will definitely be coming back again.

Apr 29,2022If you're looking at Rest + Wild then you can already see that the cabins are set in the most beautiful landscape and designed to celebrate the views all around. What you won't see is that the cabins smell wonderful because R+W use amazing diffusers. That you never need to ask for more logs for the firepit or the stove. That the bed is probably the most comfortable you've ever slept in and the towels are the thickest you've ever wrapped around yourself after a piping hot bath outside. That the knives are ceramic and the pots and pans are cast iron. In short, R+W is a 5 star experience in a 7 star location and if you're lucky enough to book, you'll wish you stretched to one more night.

Apr 07,2022This place is simply amazing! It’s like the world has been switched off, no sound at all. So much wide open space right in front of you it’s just incredible. The cabin has everything you will need, beautiful kitchen, stylish bathroom and the most comfortable bed ever which looks out onto the beautiful unspoilt views. We ordered a pizza oven and cooking ingredients which was delicious! Defiantly will stay again!

I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a real ‘switch off’ from the world. 3 days at Rest + Wild was exactly what my partner and I needed. Mar 31,2022The experience was out of this world. A few days of being unplugged was what we needed! Waking up to the sound of birds chirping and watching the sunrise to the amazing walks and sitting in the bench with the fire pit keeping us warm. The sunset and the stargazing was absolutely surreal! And the bath with a view! Would love to comeback! The team was very accommodating and also found a solution to our little hiccup! The overall experience would be one of the best memories we will have!

Mar 28,2022The most beautiful stay in UK. I can’t express how much we enjoyed Rest & Wild and everything to do with it. The bed is incredibly comfy making it easier to stay in bed for longer and appreciate the beauty right outside your window. We loved every second and we were so sad to leave! Thank you for making us make the most of every single moment together as a couple. The decor is amazing and we loved being able to use the fire pit and sit under the stars for hours.

Mar 08,2022What an absolute gem! Amazing views, wonderful accommodation and utter relaxation. The seclusion is what drew me to Rest & Wild and we didn’t see a single person for three days; just a few pheasants, sheep and birds. The quietness and star gazing were unbeatable, along with the sunset baths and fireside cooking it’s really an experience I’d recommend to everyone!

Mar 01,2022I didn't want to leave. Easy to find, brilliant location and a very clean cabin. We didn't wont want to do anything else other then hang out at the cabin. We did go in to Ludlow which isn't to far and is a lovely village full of old buildings and plenty to look at. Highly recommended for a turn off and reconnected to nature.

Feb 23,2022The Sparrow was just lovely. So quiet, only the sounds of the birds. And the view is gorgeous. Wonderfully secluded, with everything you need provided. We enjoyed cooking on the fire pit, and sunset baths. We’re planning a return trip in the summer.

Feb 07,2022We had a wonderful break away for a very welcome escape and birthday chill out. Bacon cooked on the fire outside was really fun and the Wren was really well equipped. The only things we’d improve would be bigger cups for morning coffees as they never quite seemed to last long enough and a bit more bark round the entrance as we did have a rainy night and it was muddy on the slope. The stillness and quiet were so worth it and the bath is a must. The views on our last morning included a dusting of snow on the hills from the enormous picture window. Definitely thinking about dates we could use for a revisit.
