Jan 22,2022What an Amazing place to stay fully equipped … the Bathroom was clean and the shower was fantastic.. so peaceful with roaming sheep and pheasants with beautiful views day and night .. We stayed in the Wren everything was perfect cozy bed with lovely bedding great wood burner.. We ordered breakfast.. and pizzas to cook in the pizza oven which had step by step instructions they were yummy .. The outside bath was a hit too.. we will definitely be recommending family and friends to go stay and we will be back

Jan 01,2022Relaxing sweet escape. I surprised my bf for his birthday in May, we stayed at The Nightingale (which i think has the best location amongst all the cabins) for 3 days. Last night at NYE i asked him what was the best thing we did for 2021, he said it was celebrating his birthday at Rest + Wild, which reminded me i needed to write a very long overdue review. The location was perfect for an off the grid holiday, no people in sight, it felt like a world away from Covid! Being woken up by nature's sounds , I can't remember when the last time I experienced that. The cabin was new, i think we were the second occupants if not first, it was clean and everything was tidy, labelled and we couldn't ask for anything more, we didn't want to leave! James and Tara were fab, communicated with us all throughout starting a week before our stay too coz i wanted to surprise my beau. They were very helpful especially Tara who came to help us sort our lock on a bank holiday! Talk about dedication! This is why i have been telling my friends to give it a go, one of my friends had their honeymoon there a few months ago and definitely loved it too! Loved the fire pit and the bath tub, but loved the sunrise and sunsets; and the stunning view of the Shropshire hills more! Also loved their bathroom essentials in fact i asked Tara what it was and from when we left the cabin til now, I've been using the same product! I hope we can go back again one day! Happy New Year!

Dec 29,2021This place is just stunning. We spent 4 nights in the sparrow and have memories to last a lifetime. The information in the welcome pack to the help from the staff leading up to the stay was faultless, which was incredibly reassuring and really geared me up for the stay. The self check in was really nice as it makes the place really feel like your own from the get go. The welcome pack and Christmas card was really lovely and we really enjoyed the cheese, thank you! The cabins are well equipped with everything you need and they are so cosy and beautifully decorated. The outdoor bath in the woods is really something. My only gripe was there was no outdoor boot stand or store. I had to improvise with a bag for life. In the winter it would be really great not having any of the mud inside the beautiful cabin. This place is a really special and was a very much needed getaway, thank you rest+wild!

Dec 03,2021We had the dreamiest trip here, couldn’t recommended it enough! My boyfriend even proposed here, it was perfect! It’s the perfect mix of “off-grid” but with a touch of luxury. The cabin smelt amazing and the bed and linen were very comfortable. We stayed at The Robin and the view was stunning, especially on a clear day. It’s an ideal place to get off social media, open a bottle of wine, read a book and relax. The outdoor bath was a real treat too, definitely recommend.

Nov 15,2021We absolutely love our stay at The Nightingale over a cold (but sunny) November weekend. The lack of WiFi and only charging ports for USB really helped us both with relaxing and disconnecting which was very much needed. The cabin was gorgeous and the space was really thought out. Big shoutout to the incredible bed and the fluffy pillows. We never wanted to leave it!

Nov 15,2021Having arrived in the dark under a clear sky and stars we did not know what to expect . This was Completely out of our comfort zone. We were armed with our torches so we made our way to the cabin and were immediately blown away by the cosy cwtch we were about to stay in, everything was just perfect and beautifully done . Log burner lit we settled in for our first night of Wi-fi, TV freedom, Simple cooking and wine was a joyous relief after a very long journey. An amazing bed with luxurious bedding ended the evening beautifully. Oh my goodness we awoke to the most amazing vista surrounded by sheep and pheasants roaming around outside the cabin. Peace tranquility and the Bird song was in abundance. Our cute little cabin with all you needed was our oasis for the next few days. Located in the Shropshire countryside with a fire pit to cook on if you want to brave the cold which we absolutely did under the stars and a fabulous outside hot water bathtub to enjoy and indulge the place was just amazing. It’s a delightful Dog friendly place with fantastic walks on the estate and close by and the with the added bonus if you wanted it of the beautiful Ludlow. This is really Rest and Wild and thank you for a wonderful staycation. We will return

Nov 13,2021The photos are gorgeous but it still doesn’t capture the beauty! We had an amazing peaceful time (my partner me and puppy) the guidebook was wonderful with amazing local recommendations. Deffo try out CSONS! The walking routes were easy to follow and the wren was a safe haven from busy London life. We will be back!

Nov 06,2021My partner and I recently stayed in the Nightingale for the weekend and absolutely loved it. This is the perfect place to go if you want to escape and unwind - waking up to see nothing but fields and the peacefulness there are just incredible. The cabin was lovely and the Rest & Wild team have clearly thought about all little extras and shared a really helpful welcome pack prior to our stay. We'll definitely be returning :)

Nov 01,2021Everything about Rest and Wild is smooth from the initial booking process to the welcome pack with information they provide you, to when you arrive at the cabin. It makes the stay even more restful if that is even possible! Stayed at The Sparrow cabin and it was ideal, remote, with stunning views and the outside bath is incredible. Have already recommended to friends!

Oct 14,2021Wow! We had high expectations for Rest + Wild and they exceeded them all. The welcome pack and directions were really well thought out and helpful. We stayed in The Robin with panoramic views of the beautiful rolling green hills. The interior was impeccable, minimalist and clean. It was nice not to be surrounded by distracting clutter and just let the outside be the main attraction. Having a hot bath outside under the stars was a real highlight. We loved having the log burner inside the cabin to hunker down in the evenings. Our dog enjoyed the local walks and watching the sheep and pheasants stroll across the fields. When we needed help, Rest + Wild were super quick to respond and very helpful, we just can’t fault this place. If you want a restful and unforgettable trip book it, you won’t regret it! We will be back but for longer next time. Total bliss. Thank you!

Oct 07,2021Amazing, couldn't fault it. Were able to watch the stars at night and sunrise in the morning all from the bed. Highly recommend staying in the Nightingale but absolutely loved the whole experience. The interiors of the cabin were particularly beautiful.

Oct 07,2021Wow - when I booked this I didn’t think it would be spot on like the photos. We arrived easily with great directions and instructions to the most beautiful cabin with gorgeous views. The outdoor bath was incredible and everything was thought of with a table by the bath, lots of logs for the wood burner and outdoor fire pit and plenty of loo roll! The cabin was decorated beautifully and kitted out well (although another tea towel and a cloth to wipe down surfaces would have been great). It was kitted out exceptionally well with everything you could possibly need for your stay. Just a note that it does have an eco loo so can get a little smelly after day 3, but it’s bearable and just one of those things you have to accept for an eco cabin. I just wish we could have stayed longer as it was so relaxing and peaceful - 3 days just wasn’t enough.I will be a repeat customer!

Aug 31,2021A fantastic experience from start to finish, the team are so helpful and all of the information they share before your visit prepares you for a great, chilled out and enjoyable weekend. The cabins are beautifully kitted out with everything you could need for your time, the beds are comfy, the outdoor bath is incredible, take the time to chill out and enjoy the outdoor space. We’d highly recommend booking yourself a visit and taking sometime out, we’ll be back. I’ve never felt so chilled.

Aug 27,2021Despite taking our 6 month old daughter with us, it was still the most relaxing and beautiful weekend away. The cabins are cleverly designed to feel spacious yet homely… we were even tempted to use the log burner during the summer months. We purchased a bbq box and the picante cocktail ( and have since ordered some more at home) and we would highly recommend both as they were both amazing quality. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and would highly recommend to anyone to book, we will certainly be returning for a more romantic stay without the baby.

Jan 24,2022Spent a weekend here in January, it is the perfect place for an escape from the city. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed and some interesting books to read. The cabin gets warm very quickly and makes it very cozy having the wood burner, the views from the cabin were incredible and really felt like you were on your own amongst the sheep. We got the pizza making kit which we'd definitely recommend! The only downside was it was very muddy for our stay and there was no covered area outside to either sit down or just to leave your boots so we ended up having our muddy boots inside the cabin. But other then that it was the perfect weekend, i would definitely recommend and would love to go back again!
