Apr 06,2024I have had an excellent experience with Retirement Line. Matthew Summers was extremely helpful, professional and patient during the 2 1/2 years that I was considering my annuity options. When I did decide to take my annuity, Matthew arranged this speedily and it was promptly implemented by Amy in the Administration Team. I was very pleased that an increase in annuity rates between accepting the quote and the policy being set up was reflected in the final figures. I would definitely recommend Retirement Line to anyone considering taking out an annuity.

Nothing was too much trouble for either, all enquiries were dealt with expediently and professionally. I cannot praise the service I received highly enough. Retirement Line was recommended to me by a colleague who had used their services a year before and had only good things to say about them.

Apr 03,2024The process of purchasing an annuity using several pension pots can be quite a daunting prospect. But I felt supported throughout the process. Tom Handley who provided my quotes was very helpful and informative. The Quotes were consistent with those on Government sponsored Money Helper tool and Tom was able to explain how using Retirement Line would not cost me anything as their fee comes from the annuity provider. The benefit of using Retirement Line is that they handle the application for you and liaise with both the annuity provider and the pension pot holders to facilitate a timely and efficient process. I was kept up to date regularly by my Customer relationship consultant Mandy Grkinic who chased up all the parties involved and managed to get the payments through within the time frame of my quote. Both Mandy and Tom were a pleasure to deal with and made the process as painless as possible. Thank you both.

Apr 01,2024Can’t believe the deal I got. I had used the money helper guide on the net to work out some figures. I wanted a fixed term annuity. The final figures I got from Retirement Line were £50 a month more than the web site suggested and Retirement Line’s fee was far less than most others. Firstly, I dealt with Oliver. He was very professional, guided me through the whole process, and explained all the options. I had a good idea of what I wanted but he made sure I had considered all other variables. The process of applying was simple and easy enough and at all times Oliver gave prompt answers to any questions I had. Retirement Line gave me time to think it over and never pushed for an answer. Once we had agreed the deal he passed me on to Bryony. Again, she was very professional and responded with the few queries I had straight away. I would definitely use them again as I still have pensions left to cash in and would recommend them to anyone looking to sort theirs out.

Both knowledgeable and eager to answer queries and I never felt under any pressure to pursue something against my wishes. From initial contact and option discussions to final annuity acceptance and confirmation, I couldn't have asked for more. Liaison between Retirement Line, my pension provider and my new annuity provider was seamless and all ongoing communication to me throughout the process was excellent. I would definitely recommend.
