It was not a simple process as I changed my mind at various points. At all times this team was extremely courteous and understanding, totally honest, and went out of their way to be helpful, as well as having great expertise. Feb 02,2025I recently decided to retire, and chose Retirement Line, based on other Trustpilot reviews. It was a good decision, as the whole process from start to finish was very straightforward. Both Danny Page, and Terry Finch, who dealt with my initial enquiry, and the annuity purchase, were great: everything was simply explained, and the process of completing all the necessary forms was done by them, to ensure no mistakes were made. I was also provided with regular updates, so that I knew what was happening, and what to expect when. Overall, a very good experience, for a very big life decision, which can be very complex and difficult to navigate!

Josie presented all the options available for me and secured quotes for the options I was most interested in. Once I had decided which option I wanted Terry ensured the application went through quickly and smoothly. The whole process was so simple and quick which was a huge relief. Jan 29,2025From my initial enquiry to Josie Thomas who promptly provided quotes for my annuity and explained the options in clear terms i understood , to my policy set up by Ben Payne , I have nothing but praise for Retirement line. Ben kept me updated with all information i needed at regular intervals through the transfer process from my old pension provider to a new one which offered much higher annuity rates. and was both professional, approachable and pleasant. It feels like a very individual service for each client, whose needs are treated as if they’re very important, but once your bespoke quotes are given there’s no hard sell, you’re left to make your own decision as they make it very clear they can give no advice. This is just what i needed as i’d done my own research previous to contacting them. I got a very good quote for an enhanced annuity which i took up and the whole process was smooth and quick. I like small attention to detail also - such as reimbursing my postage when i sent documents back through the post. Wasn’t expected but showed what a well organised company they are down to the smallest detail. I would recommend them to anyone looking for an annuity. Josie and Ben are excellent ambassadors for the company and i’m more than happy with the service they provided.

Jan 29,2025I was aged 60 and considering early retirement. The company holding my pension pot gave a number of names of annuity advisors. I chose Retirement Line, and I'm so glad I did. My advisers were initially Oliver and then Jasmine. It goes without saying that a company's reputation stands on customer service. When speaking to them on the phone, they talk to like your a human being. Communication by email and letter is excellent. What they don't know of pension or annuity advice could be written on a postage stamp. I asked how they are paid. Their are paid commission from the annuity supplier you choose. I had spoken to other companies, who charge a fee on top of this. May be unethical, not illegal. Leads to the old saying, 'Buyer beware'.
