Dec 21,2024Retirement Line played a key role in helping me to buy an annuity under the Open Market Option using DC funds from multiple pension schemes and administrators, which is a far more painful & stressful task than it should be. Those on the broking desk who helped me to select the annuity features that I wanted and an annuity provider were good, however that is a comparatively straightforward process - the real challenge starts once the pension administrators come into the picture. The stand-out member of the team was Mandy in the administration department who was exceptional & worked tirelessly on the slow & painful operational process of herding the pension administrators to make the purchase happen. She got the transaction over the line, keeping me aware of progress throughout, answering my questions & spotting & resolving the numerous problems that arose without ever losing focus.

He was so helpful and very patient with me when I had to keep asking him questions or clarification on anything. I was then passed to Amy Rogers who was my Customer Relationship Consultant. Amy kept me regularly updated throughout the process of the pension transfer, taking away the stress and worry. She did as much of the form filling as she could, making sure I understood each part of the process. George and Amy were both super helpful.

Dec 20,2024Very helpful discussion of my options with Retirement Line’s adviser Thomas Handley that enabled me to negotiate the rather confusing instructions from Capita, who were handling my company’s pensions and decide on a satisfactory investment of my AVCs. And then good follow-up from the Customer Relationship Consultant, Andrew Rist, who kept Capita on their toes until the money was actually disbursed and ensured I was kept informed at all stages.

Dec 18,2024I initially checked the reviews on here for Retirement Line, all were very positive so decided to enquire about an annuity, Thomas replied back with various quotes and I received a very comprehensive pack in the post, I wasn't too clear on some of the options available to me but Thomas took a lot of time to clarify these. Nothing was too much trouble. With all my queries sorted, I started the transfer process. Mollie then took over and kept me fully updated with weekly emails on how the process was going. I was advised that the whole process would possibly take 6-8 weeks, but to my surprise, Mollie dropped me an email one evening saying all was complete one month virtually to the day! Great service all around from Thomas and Mollie at Retirement Line. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. Great work! I would certainly recommend them to anybody looking for pension assistance, and I got a much higher pension amount than if I had tried to go through the process myself.
