Beatie, Rianna and Akshaye were all brilliant to work with. They were all efficient, professional and helpful. They made the process of purchasing a leasehold property easy and seam free! We particularly liked the RG Law app upon which you could see all the updates about your purchase. This made it easy to recognise tasks that you needed to do and to see exactly where you were in the process at any given moment. I would also like to add that RG rates were exceptionally good, almost £1k-£2k cheaper than a couple of our other quotes! Many thanks

This the second time we have used RG Law. The first time for the sale of our previous house and purchase of our current house and 2nd for conveyancing of our Help To Buy loan. From initial point of contact with Emma and throughout with Rakib and Aisha, we were kept informed and they all helped to complete the process with ease and within a quick timescale. Dealing with RG Law was the most stressful part of buying my home. Given their lack of professionalism, poor communication and scant attention to detail, I never felt they were on my side or that I could trust them to defend my best interests. I also had the impression at times that they didn't know what they were doing. Right at the beginning I was sent an email meant for someone else, which is worrying; then my name was mistyped on documents more than once (even after I pointed it out and asked for it to be amended). Then my case was handed to someone else but I wasn't informed. They often ignored my emails and queries or answered them in a vague, unclear manner. The process was never explained to me so I didn’t know what to expect, and I shouldn’t have to look for answers online or from friends when I’m paying a company to do specialised work for me. They also made decisions that added to my bill without consulting me or informing me beforehand. I was asked to send 10% of my deposit before we even had agreed on a date for exchange, so they ended up keeping that money for over one month – and, unlike other solicitors, they didn’t offer me compensation for loss of interest. Five months after completion I found out that the money I had transferred to them to pay six months’ worth of my service charge hadn’t reached the management company, who then wanted to charge me a late-payment fee and an admin fee for having to chase this payment. Several more emails were needed to rectify this lapse. I hope I never have to deal with this firm again, but who knows what other mistakes will crop up down the line?

This is the third time we have used RG Law to act as conveyancers for a house purchase. During each transaction, they have given a professional, friendly and efficient service with good communication at a very competitive price. This was the first time that Lauren Frain acted for us and overall she was excellent, especially dealing with an unexpected issue that arose towards the end of the process. Lauren stood her ground even when the vendor's solicitors were being obstructive and unhelpful and as a result, she was able to resolve the issue within the timescale for completion. We were extremely grateful and wouldn't hesitate to recommend her to others.
