Firstly when I registered before my first boxed arrived they called me to introduce the team and give me more information re the box I chose. The fruits and vegetables are really high quality and it helped me massively to motivate myself to cook more and more healthy.

The fruit and veg is always fresh and it's great value for money. It makes my life so much easier and helps me plan my meals as I always know what items I'm getting that week.

Mar 08,2025Ive used Riverford for 2 months. Thank you for the gorgeous free recipe book!! I love supporting farmers that look after the soil and it means it's also healthier for my family! I'm also love the reuseable boxes and home compostable bags, they also have zero packaging boxes which I have used. I've worked out that riverford box is roughly the same price as the supermarket but without the horrible plastic packaging! I buy some of the single items I buy cheaper soil organic ones from Sainsburys, I'm not sure why riverford is almost double the price for some things. I like the fact that riverford shares the profit amongst all employees. I love the newsletters with recipe inspiration and storage tips! The veg boxes are varied, although I'm a bit tired of weekly potatoes, my husband is not :) some don't have potatoes though, so I'll just vary my boxes.

Mar 12,2025I started to order vegetable boxes from Riverford just a month ago and I am happy with them! The delivery is always carefully left where I asked it to be, the quality of the vegetables is good and communication is really effective. I love the booklets in the boxes with ideas and recipes for the vegetables in the box and the free books I received are very useful. I hope I can continue to afford proper organic food, we added bread and extra vegetables to my delivery this week, but I am not sure it can be a regular thing, sometimes it’s hard to meet ends. Riverford prices are competitive and fair, it’s just the food system in general is wrong. Trash food is cheap and proper organic sustainable choices are expensive! Hopefully more and more people will try to prioritise spending their money on proper food and things will change for the better, for farmers and customers.
