Jan 01,2025I have booked a taxi for 1 a.m. with about 5-6 hours in advance, and when the time came, no one turned up. I have called them numerous times, and they either left me on hold or just hung up on me if they answered by mistake. I tried to contact them for at least 30 minutes, and they just left me on hold. I didn't want to cancel it myself as they have a cancellation fee, but I had to do as I couldn't get in touch with anyone. I will be getting those money back if they even dare charging me. Avoid them at all cost! You are better off getting an uber.

Jan 01,2025Booked a taxi from Guisborough to stockton well in advance, over 15 minutes on the phone waiting for someone to pick up, I know why they never showed because we pre booked it and the price was cheaper for pre booking and didn't want to travel a few extra mile for the pick up. Wouldn't recommend.

Dec 22,2024When I was collected from the cemetery the driver was inpatient and I was trying to strap my new born baby in, he told me to hurry up but I was struggling to fit the seat belt I did ask for help but he just told me to move the baby to another seat ( very unhelpful) and suggested the front seat!! Which is illegal. I have used Royal cars for many years now but I have never had such a bad experience like this morning.

Dec 19,2024They arrived very rapidly and in general I find them very reliable with timing. The automated phone system remembers you so it's easy to do regular bookings from the same pickup point. I always find the drivers polite and helpful too.
