Oct 17,2024After a difficult separation from my partner, I needed somewhere to store their belongings and needed them to have access, but I didn't know how to navigate that, given that we were no longer in contact. The team at SafeStore could not have been more kind, empathetic, and understanding - taking a difficult situation and making one part of it easy while giving me options for the best outcome. I want to give a special shout-out to Jason, who made me feel at ease, and Danny (I think that was his name), who ensured that my booking offered a great price and flexibility. Also, thank you to the team at Holloway; you all made a bad situation bearable because of your helpfulness, kindness and generally great attitude. I run large call centres for a major company and was impressed with how everyone made me feel like part of the family. SafeStore - you have a great team. Please pass on my heartfelt thanks to all of them.

The units were exceptionally clean and well maintained. The Manager and his Team were knowledgeable and polite. They kept in touch and gave valuable information when asked. We would recommended Safestore North Harbour and would definitely use them again

I'd booked a unit with Luke when he took me to see the unit I realised it was too small, Luke offered me a bigger one at no extra cost which I was flabbergasted by this. Units and floors were very clean. All the staff in Safestore were very professional and warm. I'd definitely recommend Safestore at Old Trafford to everyone.

Sep 25,2024I had a very frustrating experience with this self-storage facility. I was assured by a staff member that they had put a note on my account for my move-out date, which was exactly one month’s notice as required. I trusted them to follow through, but when I moved out, I was informed there was no record of the notice. As a result, I was charged for an additional two weeks, even though I had already vacated the unit and paid for two extra weeks that I didn’t need. When I tried to resolve the issue, customer service redirected me to the store, where the store manager claimed I hadn’t given any notice, which is simply not true. The staff told me they would handle it, but apparently, face-to-face verbal notice "doesn't count," even though I was told otherwise. The manager refused to credit my account, leaving me with an unnecessary charge that could have covered a week of groceries. I’m extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and communication, and I feel like my trust was completely misplaced. This has left a very bad impression, and I would not recommend this facility based on my experience.
