Nov 08,2024I gave two weeks' notice to leave my storage unit and I was quoted a final figure well in excess of two weeks' charges to leave. I queried this and never received a formal response. Now they're chasing me for an incorrect invoice! I demand that someone look into this! EDIT: I have still not received a final response or an invoice and the statement of account is as clear as lead. What have you actually done about this? EDIT #2: Safestore have provided no formal response in writing. Instead, I had a frustrating and rather fruitless phone call with Jay Gosling in which no apology was offered, no meaningful offer made and, to date, a final invoice has yet to appear. Appalling customer service!

Nov 08,2024Just arranged storage at their Oldham branch. Was looked after by an extremely helpful and polite lady called Zara! She explained everything and once I told her what furniture I will be putting into storage, she helped me work out what size I would need. Such a friendly lovely lady!!

He asked the right questions to establish my needs, discussed my options and really went the extra mile to tie down the rental requirements. SafeStore itself is a fresh efficient and secure business, which I believe is worth the tiny bit extra for peace of mind.

Oct 30,2024From my first contact with the team at Safestore, Northarbour, Portsmouth to the last I received a first class service. Andy and Jake were always polite, helpful and good humored. Nothing was too much trouble. The facility was very clean and my storage unit was easily accessible, there were always plenty of trolleys available and the lift was easy to use. I have used other storage facilities around Portsmouth and Fareham but I would not look anywhere else in future. I haven't even mentioned yet that the rate was very reasonable and the first month really did only cost £1! (which I queried at first). Thanks for taking some of the stress out of moving home.

Oct 27,2024My Daughter&Son-in-law are moving house from Wellingborough to Dawlish so needed Storage until they Complete. I &my friend have been helping and taking furniture etc to the Storage unit. I can't thank the Young man Alek for being just wonderful, kind, Polite and an absolute Pleasure to speak to. So helpful( And charming!). We need more People like him in the World. Thank you 😊 so much for making the move more smoother.

Oct 27,2024I've been using Safestore Slyfield for 2 years and have found them curteous, helpful and good humoured! Rachel started a week or so before I started using them and has always gone out of her way to make sure that I am satisfied with everything!! I recently needed to scale down and did a phone round to check prices locally..... they are still the best!

Oct 25,2024Disgraceful customer service. On the website it is says first month £1 or 50% off for first 8 weeks. These crooks wanted to rob me. And just offered me 50% off. I wanted for 1 month offer of £1. Never trust these crooks.

My mum wanted to store her belongings for 6 months and they gave her a quote at Chelsea store .she was then approached by an old block called Nigel and omar they doubled the price in an instant and started giving her a complete false information and manipulation in misguiding her .she wanted to speak to the head office or the person Incharge to make an official complaint against this old man .and his accomplice Omar they again mislead her and said manager is on holidays abroad.....this was all bulshit ...they both got caught fiddling the quote and would not print out the original quote saying the computer has deleted it ...do not trust this safe store company they are an opportunist they seek an opportunity to find vulnerable people and overcharge them in abundance ..keep away from them and do not trust your belongings with them ....if they fiddle the original quote they are quite capable of doing anything .they like...despite this ..Nigel..fellow,s age and his state ...one will think an old man is ill fated his demeaners were so corrupted my mum was so shocked of both of these people she thinks both of these two men based in Chelsea depot are on the fiddle the management may oray not be aware what is going on at this depot it needs to be investigated by the management at the top and definitely.
