I had an unpleasant experience that had to do with the ending of my trial period, the automated continuation of the trial period to one month subscription, and the way one of the customer service representatives handled my refund request. But thankfully, it was all cleared up in the end, and they refunded my one month subscription fee after I wrote about my unpleasant experience on this Trustpilot platform. There are some things that I want to remind people when trying out the Scannero: 1. Be mindful of the 1 day trial period, if you don't intend to continue the service, make sure you turn off the auto renewal process option OFF. 2. You don't have to respond to an additional offer that was "supposed" to be attached to the trial offering period. You can just closed the window without confirming to choose anything if it's not applicable to your need. 3. In case you are experiencing an automated subscription like mine, you can write on this Trustpilot platform with the hope that someone from Scannero contact you to resolve this problem, but first you need to make an official refund request on their platform and write down the ticket numbers. 4. Overall, the confusion was happening because we, as users, were not being mindful when dotting all the is and crossing all the ts, so read the terms of agreement again and again. 5. The Scannero platform itself is not too beneficial for me and my needs because I am looking for a stolen phone that may have had its SIM card removed already, That was my main reason for not continuing my trial program and refusing to take a 1 month free additional subscription instead of a refund. I am editing my review because they have agreed to refund my 1 month auto-renewal subscription, and they made good on their promise to do so.
The service is easy to use, simply fantastic. I give it five stars.
Ich habe einen Testzugang bezahlt mit 1,02 Euro und nun wurden abgebucht 58,33 Euro. Ich habe gestern Mittag gebucht und die zu ortende Nummer eingegeben, nie eine Info erhatlen und nach zwei Stunden alles gekündigt. Sowohl über die Homepage als auch per mail an scannero direkt. Die Bestätigung kam auch heute morgen per mail (also noch wit innerhalb der 24 Stunden Probe und trotzdem ist meine Karte mit 58,33 statt 1,02 belastet! DAS IST BETRUG und den habe ich bei der Polizei angezeigt
UPDATE In 2-3 days after I sent the email to support scannero they responded respectfully to me and agreed to provide me a full refund for these 4 months. Thank you for your understanding, prompt reply and the refund! I used the service in March from the website scannero.io and I agreed to pay 0,98€ for a free trial and right after I canceled the subscription. In the next two days I was charged with 38,61€ and 54,95€ for a subscription I never consented to. But for my surprise, I was still charged in the next three months. It’s a total of 259,17€ in 4 months for a service I didn’t even used or known about it. In the receipts the company is localize.mobi. I sent them an email about this with screenshots with the receipts so I’m waiting for a response and a full refund.

Well although I run into some difficulties and I wanted a refund, after communicating with the staff via email I got refunded. It's worth mentioning that you can easily communicate with them without facing any issues and they are ready to assist you with any problems you run into. So, although the issues I run into I was able to find a solution thanks to the really well communication from their side.
I previously posted this review with the title - The reports are real. And gave scannero 1 star! I then went on to describe them as an unscrupulous company - taking exploitative advantage of those going through the ‘trauma’ of losing their phone - by duping them into paying for unavoidable additional cover - And with a far from transparent subscription fee that you only notice you’ve been charged for a few days later when you check your account balance or find their emails in your junk folder. When still considering using Scannero, I believed I had progressed only so far in applying for their services. I’d paid an initial sum of £0.76 but only a few days later did I realise that I’d been ‘surprise charged’ for a renewal fee of £42.22. However, since then - I’ve emailed them - they’ve apologised - and today (13/06/24) they have refunded me £42.22 I still believe the way they operate needs serious investigation and overhaul - And I cannot comment on their service of finding lost phones - But they have undoubtedly made me rethink and rewrite this review without mentioning the word “scam” And I thank them for their response and the refund.

This Scammero apps totally ripped off my money, I only apply for a 1 days trial which only cost me <1 $ but this Scammero auto charge me with support???? Cost me more then 17$ in total, don't try this apps, and I'm gonna write on every review platform I can so that everyone know this scammer app until my money returned. New info: they refunded my money, the app use old method to locate, this is bad but customer service is nice

There name should be Scameroo. Don’t sign up. I have have money taken with out permission after just trying to do the free trial. No response from support team after 2 emails. I have been asked to provide more info. Firstly I was signing up for the advertised $1.53 Free day trial, You can’t proceed unless you also click on the next page which states the price will be $52.00. Before the free trial had finished I was charged the $52.00. Then the next day your company also took $74. I have emailed proof on two occasions and received no response. This was 5 days ago. Therefore I stand by the claim it’s a scam. Or I’d have been contacted and the money refunded. Update 11/06. The company has since contacted me and agreed to refund the money.

This company is a SCAM ! they took a very small amount for a service that never worked, then the day after they deducted over kr500 / 50 pounds in an unauthorised transaction. I sent mail and they said they cant identify transaction despite sending screenshots and all details like they asked for ! It's just a scam to get your details !!@
Scam, stay away from this. Hidden additional charges. edit: They will try to play it off like everything is transparent. Then, they tried to charge additional $49 dollars two days later, even thought they told me over support that my subscription is canceled!!! Good thing I got a new credit card. Stay away!
When I encountered the problem & reached Scannero via messaging them, then they did respond very swiftly. This fact was a pleasant piece of experience when dealing with Scannero. Thank u for good service !
This company is a scam. After paying $0.89, they tacked on an additional $10 unexplained charge. After this, I wasn't even able to track my missing cell phone with their services. Twelve hours after this transaction, I submitted a support ticket to cancel the $49 subscription I NEVER CONSENTED TO, and then submitted another ticket asking for a full refund, SINCE THEIR SERVICE IS LITERALLY USELESS. My tickets were never answered and I was still charged $49 for a monthly subscription. I just paid $60 to locate a missing phone that my friend was able to find moments later for free. I demand a full refund at once, and in addition to filing a fraud investigation with my credit union, I will be seeking legal counsel. And if I incur any overdraft fees from these fraudulent charges, I will demand that your company recoup me.
I went to try the one time trial. It didn't work. The site wouldn't let me input any information for a number to seek. Instead it tried to promote me for a subscription. I exited the site after several attempts to input a number for the one time trial . A week later I was charged for a subscription. I have attempted to contact them several time have been ignored all times. Twice I have emailed about refunding me. and I have called their hot line which is out of service. I am now filing a fraud investigation with my bank.
Grosse arnaque. Du vol. Ils prélèvent sur le compte sans préavis clair. Tout est très opaque. Les options rajouté sont automatiquement coché et impossible de les décocher !!! Si je ne reçois pas de remboursement, je porterais plainte. Fuyez.

Jun 12,2024Regarding Refund. I have communicated with them Several Times And they keep sending the same email address that state that I have subscribed with any of their tracking app . That I should send them the welcoming email . I mean my email is not even registered with any of their tracking app . And I just made peace with the fact that they won’t return my money coz it seems like I am talking to a machine. They Are Useless..
