(Revised Post) I have changed my review from 1 star to 5 star based on the follow up service I received from Seven Seas Shipping. After I wrote the review below Seven Seas Shipping upped their customer service game and guided my delivery to completion. My suggestion to Seven Seas Shipping is to drastically improve the customer service component of your business so you don't get irate and disgruntled customers in the first place. (Original Post) I have used Seven Seas Shipping several times and usually all goes OK, however when things fail with Seven Seas it is a nightmare! Cant get through to Seven Seas UK, no agent to talk to in Singapore where my shipment is supposed to be and the contact form on their website has failed. All my data has been wiped from my account on the Seven Seas Website so multiple failure and no customer service!
I had a fantastic experience with this service! The staff over the phone were incredibly polite and patient, making the entire process feel seamless. When the two men arrived to help with my boxes, they were not only understanding but also very helpful with lifting and moving the heavy items. Horrible experience. Seven Seas used a local partner agency to deliver our parcels to France and they did a poor job - our parcels arrived in two different allotments 16 and 20 days late. While we understand delays, the worst of it was that Seven Seas essentially shirked on their responsibilities to us. Our requests for assistance led no where and the customer service team were unable to actually assist us. We had to communicate with the partner organisation ourselves to achieve delivery and Seven Seas have since blamed this as 'confusion' when they essentially told us that the partner organisation was handling the delivery and were the most direct communication route. Our complaints to Seven Seas were then also disregarded. I cannot in good faith recommend this company.
I was so happy and satisfied with their service. Everything was done online, which was very efficient and great. I really liked that I could get a quote right away without having to wait. Their customer service consultants and drivers were friendly and very professional. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a stress-free and reliable international moving experience.
Be very careful when getting a quote and committing. I got stung an additional $300 for this companies "customs handling" fees despite me doing 99% of the documentation (there was no fees from customs itself) It was not made apparent on the website when quoting and was buried deep in the email that was sent for the quote in small text. This was more then the delivery itself and they essentially did next to nothing for this money. If it was $50 ok fine but $300 .... robbery! They essentially held my boxes hostage till this was paid! UPDATE: Once again this was hidden in small text deep inside the quote they emailed you. They mislead you into believing the quote on their website is what you will be charged. When I called to complain about this extra fee they had no interest in coming to a fairer agreement and threatened to send my boxes back to Australia if I didn't pay. Be warned there in it only to rip you off!

All of our things made it safely from Canada to New Zealand and we were able to see the progress of the shipment as it travelled. The Canadian moving team were great, really helpful and communicative. The New Zealand team was a bit less friendly and helpful but unloaded quickly without incident. Communicating with Seven Seas themselves was infuriating. I was on hold for long periods of time every time I called them and their manner was patronising and not very helpful. I didn't think the process was made particularly clear and it didn't seem like they cared. When you're shipping things that clearly mean a lot to you because you wouldn't spend so much money otherwise, you want to feel as if you're in safe hands and I can't say I did. I probably would explore other options before using Seven Seas again, but our belongings arrived undamaged and that's the most important thing.
Delivered 10 boxes from Ireland to Australia. All the boxes reached safely on time without any delay and damage.

The consultation and pickup process was conducted professionally but still made you feel at ease that they work on a personal level since you‘re trusting them to send your possessions across to the other side of the world. Answered all my questions transparently putting my nervous self at ease.
This is the second time I have used Seven Seas for international shipping. They make the process and costs clear and the best thing is their delivery drivers. Both in the UK and Australia they couldn’t have been more friendly or helpful.
Moved from New Zealand to England with 3 large boxes, highly recommend the service. Great live tracking feature to monitor the progress of the shipping, great communication and in-journey updates, very friendly driver delivered the boxes promptly within notified delivery time.
The Seven Seas customer online system is not intuitive and it was sometimes challenging to navigate the inventory and other forms and to figure out how and what to do certain things, however, after calling for support whenever we got stuck, the people working at Seven Seas were very helpful. All the employees from the first call for information through to the delivery driver at the end were very helpful and we got all our stuff transported across the world in good condition thanks to Seven Seas. We would use them again, and recommend!
