Jan 21,2025A super stylish, easy to use electric vehicle home charger. I spent a long time deciding which charger to install at home now I own an electric car and after my research, it was clear that Simpson & Partners 7kw Plus charger was the charger for me. The process was very simple, I requested a colour swatch, a representative from the team emailed me to see if I needed more help, they recommended someone to fit the charger I was interested in and then finally I ordered the charger through the installer’s website. The charger came within three days which was fantastic and it was fitted within the fortnight. The charger is very stylish, I opted for the brick finish to match my dark brick home with the luxury dark copper lid selected alongside the matching brick hook for the cable. I am an Interior Designer so the look and feel of the charger was very important to me. Plus, I figured all chargers installed are a similar price so I felt it a worthwhile investment to spend a few more hundred pounds getting exactly what I wanted. The unit is subscription free unlike many competitors and the system works with both Bluetooth and WiFi so it works seamlessly with my home. The long warranty also played a part in my purchasing decision as it is very desirable when you are a technophobe like I am. The team have been so quick and responsive with any queries I have had and overall, seem a very friendly and professional bunch! The app is super easy too, it was very quick to set up with the installer and now I have my charges scheduled and I can track how much each charge is costing me which is very helpful. Overall I would strongly recommend Simpson & Partners and their Home Charger 7kw Plus tethered device. The installer recommended was Smart Home Charge and they were also just as helpful and reliable as Simpson & Partners.

Jan 16,2025Don’t be fooled by the good looking kit, the software is just not up to scratch and it will cost YOU a fortune. Customer service is something totally alien to this offering. Avoid at all costs. You will be ghosted repeatedly if you provide feedback and the local fitters are running away from any association as quick as they can. Legal action pending. Very sad wirh a local Cotswold company. Seeking to ensure they are not involved in local business groups and speaking to their auditors

Jan 08,2025I have had a Simpson & Partners charger for 2 years and have never had any issues. This morning the charger was in Standby - we are in the January 2025 cold snap - and I could not get the charger to work. I phoned Simpson & Partners service team - who were able to monitor my system, re-start or re-boot, and generally give reassuring advice. The charger started, and normal operation was resumed. The charger is excellent, and the customer service was a significant reassurance. Delighted with their response.

Our installer has never seen this brand previously but found it straightforward to fit and was so impressed that he has taken the details and will be recommending them to his customers. The app is intuitive, from downloading it to setting a charging time window took seconds. The turnaround time from order to delivery was quicker than I had expected which was a bonus.

I love how small the product is making it very discrete and all the colour options meaning you can get colours to suit any location. I’m even more excited that sometime as of next year they will be compatible with Octopus Intelligent Go! This is the final missing piece! I’ve also spoke to Simpson & Partners a few times and they’ve always been extremely helpful.

As an installer this unit is a best seller and there are reasons why. Stylish, reliable, great product and range at good sensible price, great back up, great service and we are proud to sell and install Simpson & Partners Charge Points.

Nov 29,2024Where to start! Amazing piece of kit. I am an Electrical Contractor and this is hands down the best EV charger i ever fitted. Everything was effortless to do. The terminals are solid, the enclosure feels robust nd everything lined up perfectly. Quality screws nice to work with. Washers with rubber inserts included for fixing as well as the stuffing glands. Setup and commisioning was super easy. We fit high quality equipment daily but i have not been this impressed in a long time. Certainly our go to EV charges from here on!
