everything was amazing. Especially the chalet hosts and the people who helped us. We would be 5 stars without a doubt but we had no working TV or WIFI all week :-(

just came back from a catered chalet skiing holiday with them and it was a great experience. I was impressed by the cooking and menu of the host, his attentiveness was amazing and we were really well looked after. The chalet itself was really run down, so maybe they should pick their accommodation better but I'd definitely go with them again.

We stayed here for one week. I’ll start with the positives, it’s location is great literally 20m from the gondola. The chalet host was nice. However it’s convience is massively outweighed by the tiredness of the rooms, there is a reason there are no pictures of the dining room. We stayed in room 1, the bathroom was incredibly dated And has an Austrian style bath/shower. Thankfully there is a spare bathroom off the lounge area with a proper shower 3 floors up that we could use. One of our group left early due to a broken bed that was still broken at the end of the week, he was less than impressed with the response of the ski world staff. The apartment is stated as being suitable for families. It’s not, it’s very noisy at night as there is a kebab shop literally in the building. There are no locks on the room doors! Given the price of this chalet I would stay a bit further out the convenience is just not worth it.

Consistently the best catered chalet ski holiday company around - great locations and chalets, and fantastic staff. We have used Ski-world for over 10 years and they have never failed to impress.

Had a great skiing holiday all the staff were fantastic especially our chalet host Pete who was brilliant and an amazing cook, Also Jacob who checked in on us at least once or twice a day and was very helpful. The chalet was lovely and close to the slopes and the resort and skiing was perfect !

Loved our ski trip! The chalet was older and traditional in style, but unlike a lot of French accomodation the space, warmth and pleasant sitting area in the room more than made up for it. Infact we decided retro cosy was the new cool! The dinning area was ideal for our requirements, we had the whole Chalet and it was the perfect environment for adults and teens. Having stayed in St Anton we loved this location, along the dedicated path it was suprisingly close to the Naserine lift and just the right amount of proximity to town - almost in the center, so great for access but just away form the night action! Yet close enough not wo worry about teenagers coming home late!! The very presentable staff achived just the right balance of service and fun. The kitchen was very organised and clean. The meals were very pleasant and consistant, with portions suitable for hungry skiers. We upgraded the wine and this too was a pleasant suprise, generous and really decent quality. The staff also accomodated dietry requiremtents diligently. We also as previously recieved good advice fromt he skiworld staff about small details like taking a photo of your ski pass and reciept to speed up any necessary replacements!!

I have been skiing with ski world for over 10 years. Their holidays offer good value and I have never had a bad experience with them. What did it for me however was back in 2010 with the Icelandic ash cloud they were absolutely superb, getting me and my family back to the uk in very difficult conditions. So not only do they offer good holidays that they deliver on, but they seem to have the organisational back up to deliver when things go wrong. I would have no hesitation in strongly recommending them.

The experience in the chalet and resort was amazing. Food was incredible and everything was very comfortable and easy. Our Chalet hosts were so so friendly and gave us an amazing trip. However, the transfer was a problem and there were no ski world employees to answer our questions when travelling or to inform us of information. When a 3 hour journey turns into a 6 hour 30 minute journey, and no ski world employees apologises at the airport just smile and say how it is not their fault, it leaves the customer slightly annoyed.

Do not use this company it was a truly shocking, and unacceptable experience. I have been on over 40 ski holidays and this is the worse by far, we booked the Chalet Leo Val Thorens £825 each catered chalet, and had to buy our own food and drinks and do the washing up. We arrived and the front door looked like it had been kicked in, and we where told it did not close or lock, there was no toilet paper or soap in any of the bathrooms, and one of our rooms had less than 200mm floor space around the bed, the door to the balcony did not close properly so let in the -16 cold all day and night, the radiator would only turn either fully on or off. The shower head was broken off so basically the water came out like a hose in a third world country. The first morning fully catered breakfast was a joke, no orange juice, no coffee, no bread only some kids breakfast cereal which was clearly left over from the week before when they had children. there was no bread, no ketchup. we had to re use cutlery as they did not have enough to go around and the dish washer was broken, so we had to wash our own. basically we had one egg and one sausage for breakfast. we where then told they had no eggs left for the following days. evening meal again no bread less than 2 bottles of wine between 7 men, one red one white, we had to use the same spoon for soup and pudding, portions where very small, the kitchen bin was next to the table and over flowing, I don't think it was emptied all week. we had to do our own washing up. by the second day we where buying our own bread, coffee, cereal, fruit ketchup, milk from the shop opposite as none was provided and had no wine, basically it turned into a self catering holiday. we told the staff on site and the rep an where told that supply's had been delayed we pointed out that there was a shop over the road why not use it!! we where told it was coming but in never did in 6 days,we had paid the most ever on catered accommodation and where basically not being fed. in a chalet that anybody could walk into day and night as the front door remained broken for the whole week. We ran out of wine and were told there is no white one night, when the red carafe ran out that was it and we had to beg for more, that’s less than a glass each. Certainly not unlimited wine, and what ever happened to coffee? By Thursday I had to call the rep again as we hadn’t seen him apart from the first night. Breakfast that day that was, pan cake made with just flour and milk, and a strip of bacon, as that day she had no bread again, no eggs, and no cereals and it was our milk she was using. The rep said we should not be buying our own food to supplement the chalet when it runs out and that Ruth WAS empowered to literally pop across the road to the spa shop same as us to buy food when it ran out which she never did. We bought milk in the afternoons for tea and coffee, cereals, endless bread for afternoon’s breakfast and dinners. Our shower head was broken, and none of the bathroom radiators could be turned off. You would sweat just brushing your teeth or using the loo. The rep brought enough cutlery Thursday evening after I complained again for eating meals without wiping clean and reusing ours, he said we should not be setting up the coffee machine or buying bread and milk etc. he did offer to reimburse those that had bought the food if we produced receipts. We didn’t think to keep receipts as we did not expect it to turn in to a semi self-catered holiday. Friday evening was better but we still only had our own bread from breakfast with our meal! And she only plated up 6 not 7 desserts?? How can you mis count, maybe she ran out of plates. Afternoon tea and cake still had all the jams laid out with no bread and dirty cups in the sink from breakfast. Why lay it all out when you know there is no bread, why if there is no bread did she not pop out and buy some (2 mins away) lazy or stupid? Our last meal on the day of departure continental breakfast had no bread! And what was left of a pack of cornflakes somebody had baough over the road, lucky Steve didn’t want any as it ran out. And no coffee. The text I sent the rep on 19th Jan 3 30pm "Leo chalet here, we are done buying food for our chalet, we have bought orange juice milk bread please come and see us". Saturday 20th 6:30 am playing hunt the milk again, no bread, no cups, what going on. As Ruth was not around. For Ruth everything had to be prompted. Toilet rolls, soap, where is the ski locker room, etc. virtually every meal had something missing, wine, milk, eggs, bread, glasses, cutlery, coffee, cereals Our room 2 was also far too small the layout on your map is incorrect for this room. The beds would not have fitted in the orientation on your map it would hit the doors and are the other way around and virtually touching the ends of the beds against the walls, With only enough space to fit a pair of shoes next to both beds it was the smallest and most expensive I have had in the last 25 years. The radiator was either full on or full off and the external door didn’t shut properly so the person by the door would either boil or freeze. It should be a single not a twin room and we paid way too much and expected bigger. The 2 people in the triple paid less than we did. So the holiday turned out to be a semi self-catering chalet with a messy and badly organised chalet host who was either trying to save budget on food or maybe overwhelmed beyond her ability. While there the first thing she told us was the front door does not lock so we had no security. one of us spend a few hours dismantling the lock and doing a partial fix to get it to at least lock and open properly. Not something we should have to do for the security of all our belongings. Shouldn’t these things be reported and fixed under the building maintained contract not left to customers. Ruth obviously knew about it (for how long) and had not initiated anything to fix it. (Booking ref: y077728 Chalet Leo , val thorens, france/13th jan – 20th jan 3 passagers) I think the staff must get a bonus for how tight they can be, as the message was being said by 7 of us clearly that we did not want to have to pay for the food we had already paid for in the price of the holiday. we have contacted ski world but they really don't seem to care about sorting this out or explaining this totally unreasonable state of conduct

a great holiday in the Chalet Mazot Zermatt. rep Greg very efficient and chalet hosts Jack and Kolbra very pleasant, professional and good company. Food was varied and plentiful although the wine was not the nicest tasting. Food presentation and service excellent, rooms clean and tidy. It was our third time in this chalet and we loved every minute of it.
