Been trying to get hold.of them for past week regarding certificates I never received
So when I tried to add our 2nd dog to my account I managed to mess the accounts up. I contacted SmartTrace and Joanne was brilliant. She looked at my issue and got it sorted really quick, even checking it was correct before contacting me again. Thanks so much Joanne for getting it fixed.
Can’t complain about the service especially when dealing with Joanne , the transfer had not been done from when we bought our cavapoo back in December last year 2023 , only came to light when I noticed we had not received any confirmation and our account still did not show any sort of certification.. contacted smart trace via email with my enquiry and within 24hrs Joanne contacted and delt with the matter straight away. When my cats were chipped, the lady took down my email address incorrectly so I couldn't log in. I contacted SmartTrace, spoke to Joanne, and within a few hours, everything was sorted for me. Great customer service!

Ordered delivered no issues good quality
They respond very slow and then don't respond back for weeks. No direct number to make contact: not even for a Registered Vet. Avoid at all costs: ASK your Vet to recommend a RESPOSIBLE Chip provider wo can be trusted and be contacted directly if needed.
Through no fault of smarttrace there was a problem with the chip itself? I'm very great full of the excellent service from smarttrace and that is with no problem of getting a full refund thank u very much

Unable to get the webpage to work. It's as if the enter button will not function. Tried to register my dog, have already paid but it won't go any further when I try to enter. Wrote out an email on Contact Us, again, as soon as you click on Send, nothing happens. I had already waited a couple of weeks to do this as I paid a while ago, but after I paid, there was an error message saying the website was going to be down for 48 hours. Edit 15th July: I have increased my rating but this is only for the Customer Services Team. They have helped greatly. They have had to enter my dogs details onto the site as still it doesn't work. I would hate to imagine what the Customer Services Team are having to put up with at the moment.

Jul 12,2024Had 200 microchips from these as a breeder and implanter, bought on the basis that transfers were free. All worked well for the first 2 years lots of happy new owners, all pets I sold had all the correct DoB, breed, sex and colour details all updated by me (the breeder) then I would also upload the new owners details, name, address etc. fool proof, flawless, convenient. Then they decided, with no notice to change how things are done on the website, so now, I get a link that can only be shared with the new owner, however the copy link button doesn’t copy (even though it says it has copied) then you cannot paste the link anywhere (a bug on the website). Then to find out that the new owners are going to be charged for registering their details, when before it was free. They say this is to stop the chips being registered to keepers without any pet information, however, as the breeder, I was already updating the breed, age, sex and colour of the animal, so how that could occur is beyond me as you needed to input the details to progress. Seems like a money grab to me! Especially given that the microchips are still advertised for sale on the Smart Breeder website with free transfers… False advertising much! I am extremely disgruntled, I have lots of these chips left and now no desire to use them and add to the costs for my new owners.
