Jul 13,2020Great job by Izzy and Mary we got a great price for our home and sold really quickly accepting an offer after about 4 weeks. It started a bit Slow maybe due to corona lockdown but loads of interest and sold as we wanted to. Thanks guys!

Jul 09,2020Impossible to get a hold of. We were thinking of putting our flat on the market with them, so my husband called them. The receptionist answered and promised someone would get back to us. No one did, so he called again couple of days later, and again they promised someone would get back to us. Well, now someone did only a couple of minutes before their closing time and left my husband a voicemail. My husband returned the agent's call the next day and left him a voicemail. And since then no one has ever come back to us. Doesn't exactly fill you with confidence.

Jul 09,2020Dreadful experience with this company. We put our flat on the market with them a week ago, and last weekend, had a viewing with a very interested party. Since then, despite repeated phone calls and emails and messages left with disinterested receptionists, have been unable to contact anybody at Sold who can help us. So potentially their complete inactivity may have cost us a sale. This company promises the earth but delivers nothing. Avoid them like the plague. LATEST NEWS As you can see, I have finally received some feedback from sold.co.uk. It's quite difficult to get any information out of them, so this is quite a momentous day. I'd just like to add that they contacted trustpilot and accused me of lying and being a fake customer (even though they knew full well that I was genuine), I had to send proof to trustpilot to have this review reinstated. That is the kind of company we are talking about here. Even this response from Jess is pathetic, this is the very first indication we had from sold.co.uk that they believed our property was overpriced...ironic as they were the people who gave it that valuation. If only they could have spoken to us during the 30 day period in which they promise to achieve so much...but they didn't, they were too busy. So all I can do is advise people to use sold.co.uk when the property market is less busy, and to ask for a lot less than the market value of your property. Then they might sell it within 30 days.

Jun 18,2020these guys did me a solid job in selling our flat that we had wanted to sell since before lockdown started. the last estate agent wasnt getting any viewings in and then totally closed shop in april. we relisted with these guys and they were active thru out. like some of the reviews below they were sometimes hard to get hold of but with everything going on it was understandable they were busy and it didnt really matter to us all that much as we had a lot of people round to see the flat and they got it sold. thanks guys

Jun 16,2020I wish I had looked at Trustpilot before contacting this company. On the 11th June I emailed requesting some information regarding a flat in Wimborne, I had an automated response stating they would contact me within a few hours or why not phone them. On the 12th I spoke to a guy and he said he would get back to me. On the 13th I spoke to a lady (with a Scottish accent) she said it was not one of her properties but would get the correct person to get back to me. Deciding to leave the question of the lease etc I decided on the 14th to request a viewing. Again the same automated response. Two working days have now passed without any response, so all in all a week has passed without any response to either my emails or phone calls. I hope the vendor of this property looks into Trustpilot because I have some advice for the vendor, do not expect a quick sale. I am not really sure what this company does. After two weeks, I am advised the property sold very quickly. It was posted on Rightmove in Feb 20, even allowing for covid 19 it is still showing for sale at the end of June. What a way to run a business

Jun 16,2020Original review: Again much like the recent 1 star review the exact same thing happened to me... I enquired about a property 5 days ago got no response so I left it 4 days just incase they were busy, which for me I straight away find odd as I've been looking to buy a property for 6 months now and I know estate agents will chew you ear off and jump straight on the phone to talk to you so they can get your commission... After looking into this company I see that they only get commission if the property is sold at a higher value therefore this probably removes all motivation to sell properties that in their eyes won't be sold above value. Absolutely terrible way of conducting business..... Anyway so I called yesterday and had spoken to someone and the conversation felt like this person didn't even know she was working for an estate agent.... The property I was looking at was the only one listed in a certain town but I had to provide the details (again that's never happened with an estate agent). So the mysterious phone operator promised me that someone will get in contact..... 24 hrs go by and I check their website just to see if there are any other numbers to call low and behold the property I was looking at has been SSTC..... why would you not tell me on the phone lots of people are interested and offers have been given. This company seem absolutely shady and given all the recent reviews. DO NOT TRUST. Ps still waiting to hear back from someone, can't wait for their response on here. Are you ready to watch them get defensive and say it's my fault ? Updated review : After talking through with someone on the phone from sold.co.uk There have been shortcomings from the company which have been admitted and hopefully going forward there will be some transparency. I have changed my rating to a three star to reflect the conversation we had however I would like to see this transparency put into play. Thanks

Jun 06,2020Sent an email first, never got a reply. Then called them ...twice ...and left two messages with two different phone handlers..., never bothered to return my calls. The second time the person who answered said she could see my first call logged but couldn’t say why they’d not called back as promised. I asked if the property I was inquiring about was still available and she answered “I don’t know, don’t have that information...” my guess is that the property listed is no longer available and they are using it as bate to gather details of potential buyers and thus grow their DB. I’m going to drive by the property and see if there’s a sign outside stating if it’s still up for sale. In summary rubbish ethics and appalling customer service. Worst experience ever as a real estate consumer. If they were ever a decent company as some earlier posts seem to suggest, they lost their edge. REVEALING UPDATE/FOLLOW UP: The day after I posted this review I got a message from someone called Jess to find out what happened and asking further questions. (revealing that they never replied when I was a potential customer but did straight away after exposing their dodgy methods... another red flag). I replied that I don't work for them and they should do their own internal investigation, as they do have all the info, and stop wasting my time. I mentioned the issue with the phone handler acknowledging my first call and email but not being able to provide an answer as to why they never called back. I also mentioned that the same person could not even tell me if the property was still available, which is a very basic question, and thus that it made me question their marketing ethics, as I though the property was not available and they were just keeping it posted to get people calling in, etc.... they immediately put a "Sold STC" update on the property, which just confirmed my suspicions.... Finally, after my email, Jess never got back to me, nor did anyone else from the company, of course.... more evidence..caught red-handed and exposed much? Stay away from this company and spread the message far and wide.

Jun 03,2020I called up about a house for sale in Bishops Cleeve, Cheltenham. I left a message with a call handler who said someone would be in touch. 24 hours later and no call or email, so I thought I’d email them. I then had a phone call from an agent who was dealing with the sale. The agent asked about my situation and I said I had a house to sell. He was then abrupt, completely dismissive about my enquiry and quite frankly rude. He begrudgingly agreed to email me a ‘virtual tour’ and after which he would call and see if I wanted a viewing (Covid situation notwithstanding - understandably). No email came so I completely lost interest in the house due to how unprofessional the agent was. It’s of no surprise to me that the house has since been relisted with another agent with far better photos and a better description. I understand that one person does not paint the picture of the whole company but it’s left me never wanting anything to do with Sold.co.uk I spoke to the new agent who listed the house and mentioned my experience, they said they had 3 other people with a similar story.

I dealt with Jamie and Mary from putting in my offer to completion and both were really friendly and helpful. I am a first time buyer and this was new territory for me, learning as I went and Mary made that experience a happy one.
