In 2001, a customer named Jen was building her dream home in southern Michigan and wanted a beautiful stairway. She could see what she wanted in her mind, but the stair parts she wanted were not available through normal outlets. She wanted unique iron balusters with custom box newels. Len thought he could meet her needs, and StairSupplies was born.

May 08,2018Have ordered two different cable railing systems from them. The last one was a straight run, and it went together well and looks good. The earlier one was all stainless and had two runs of stairs. The cable anchors do not hold on angles, and the units had to be individually welded on site, which was time consuming and expensive. Overall, a good experience with Stair Supplies, but would not use their system again if stairs are involved, for cable railing.

May 08,2018Great product. More updates would be nice as production does take a bit of time. Needs dedicated cust service email or online status check. It took multiple emails to get a response but they did eventually.
