In 2001, a customer named Jen was building her dream home in southern Michigan and wanted a beautiful stairway. She could see what she wanted in her mind, but the stair parts she wanted were not available through normal outlets. She wanted unique iron balusters with custom box newels. Nov 18,2017Very satisfied with the new banister (angled aluminum post, stainless rods and wood handrail). The angled post were cut precisely as ordered, the post/base weld assembly process was professional quality, and post manufactured paint application was excellent. No nicks or scratches noted after delivery. The 12 foot stainless rod system creates a visually appealing, seamless flow, void of bulky fittings. Similarly, the handrail can be ordered in one long piece, then cut to suit. I ordered the handrail as unfinished wood so that the stain/finish would match the hardwood floors. The wood grain was consistent along its length and the piece was straight and true - looks great. Couldn't be more pleased and highly recommend this product.

Nov 17,2017I Love the look and quality of my new stairs and handrail. Since I was retrofitting a old set of stairs which weren't built with any consistency, I needed 3 different sizes of treads. So nice to be able to custom size each one. Such a wide variety of woods and finishes too. My contractor was so impressed, he said he'll definitely be using Stair Supplies in the future.

Nov 16,2017The product is great. However, the style of handrail I wanted was not in stock and would not be in for about 2 months due to a broken machine at the manufacturing plant. So I changed the style type to be able to get the handrail within one month. When I got the Sales Confirmation I noticed that there was an incorrect piece on it. They had changed numbers in the translation. When I alerted them to the mistake they gladly and quickly changed that to the original request. All in all everything turned out well and it is a great product. I look forward to doing business with them in the future.

Nov 16,2017Takes way way too long to receive your items once order is placed. They tell you they make your order and process it in the order it's received. I ordered one primed ballaster and it took two weeks to ship an unprimed one and they considered that fast. I ordered four, 3' filler pieces that goes between the ballasters on the bottom of the handrail and it took more than two weeks to ship. Way way too long to have to wait for your order to arrive.
