In 2001, a customer named Jen was building her dream home in southern Michigan and wanted a beautiful stairway. She could see what she wanted in her mind, but the stair parts she wanted were not available through normal outlets. She wanted unique iron balusters with custom box newels. Only with since this order was for a missing tread from my original order (my fault), that it could be expedited so my contractor can finally finish my stairs and railing system!!! Its been a challenge without railings on my new floating stairs!!!

Jul 07,2020The 45 degree mitered handrails that I ordered were satisfactory, with one exception: The curved end that presses against the wall was not trimmed - - your craftsman perhaps skipped a last important step? It was far too much trouble to send them back. So I found a friend with a proper bench saw, and we cut to the right length. Best wishes, Fred Coffey

Jul 07,2020Stair supplies was great to work with. Responsive and helpful. Loved the detailed quote and 3-D mock up of our design. Ordering process was easy and everything arrived as expected. Super impressed with the packaging and labeling of all the parts. The view rail cable railing was high quality and we love the look of it. While the instructions were ok and the YouTube videos somewhat helpful, I wish there had been a bit more detail with more tips and tricks for installing the cable. You get the hang of it quickly but I make some mistakes in the beginning which made the install a bit frustrating at the start. I also found that many of the steel insert sleeves don’t fit the holes in the posts - even with significant hammering and trying to flatten the lip with pliers there are a handful that I can’t get in.
