Could not wait to get rid of the lava stone and put in the mixed colors of the fireglass. Everyone loves it!! It is beautiful. I mixed several different types and each has its own unique beauty! Order estimator for fire pit was totally accurate and provided the perfect amount of glass. Prices were good, shipping charges were more than reasonable. Order was confirmed, shipped and tracking number was provided quickly. Glass arrived quickly in great condition. Would definitely reccommend

We placed an order on 9/30 and they shipped to a different person in a different state. When I called they had to investigate and then told me that the other person would ship it to me. I received a tracking number. 10 days later that person has not shipped the part. I do not understand why I have to wait for the other person to ship it to me. This is the companies fault not ours!! The other suggestion was well we can have them ship it back to us and then we will ship it to you?!?!? They needed to ship me out a new one the dated I called them to find out where our part was in transit. That was 10/15 and I am still waiting for an answer on what they are willing to do for us. This is the most ridiculous customer service I have ever had to deal with.

Really hard to decide between all the colors, loved the shamrock green, but decided to go with the ruby red, couldn't be happier. The zircon practically glows in the fire pit, even the pieces that are not near the flame. I noticed that even when the zircon cracks, some of the smaller pieces become almost yellow, which actually makes the overall effect that much better. Thanks!

I ordered a Burner, Burner pan and Hose kit for my new fire pit. After reading their shipping policy and ratings, I thought I would have the parts when needed in 4 or 5 days based on their shipping policy and delivery map. After placing the order at 3:27PM PT on 9/22, I called to confirmed the parts were in stock. My bank account was charged for the purchase on 9/22 so I thought all was good. I called again on 9/24 at the end of the day since I had no shipping information yet. I was assured the order would ship on 9/25 and that I would get an E-mail with the tracking information. The morning of 9/26 I still had no shipping information and the order still showed as "not shipped" on their website so I purchased the parts from another supplier with expedited shipping. When I called Starfire the morning of 9/26 to cancel the order, they told me the order had shipped on 9/25. I asked why they never sent an E-mail with tracking information and they couldn't tell me. When asked why the order still showed as not shipped on their website they indicated the site must be broken. I processed the return and the items are on their way back but here is the killer - they are charging me with a 20% RE-STOCKING FEE - OUCH. I expect business to do what they say as stated in their policies. Their policy states "ship out within 24-72 hours of purchase". The UPS label was printed at 6:11 PM PT on 9/25 which is OVER 72 hours from purchase. When told I will be sent an E-mail with tracking information once shipped, then I expect an E-mail confirmation with tracking information. If they had just sent me the E-mail notice, I would have known what was going on, they would have made a sale, and I wouldn't be out the 20% re-stocking fee. I will say that the people I talked to at Starfire were really nice, so I was quite surprised when they nailed me with the 20% fee. Guess this is one policy they do enforce.

I needed a hose to relocate my propane tank for my fire pit. I called customer service for help and they directed me to the product that I needed. I found it fast on the web page. The transaction was easy and fast. Shipment was fast too. I attached the hose I lit my fire pit. It works great.

The 1/2" copper is beautiful. Looks ten times better in the pit than the original lava rock. Looking forward to our Octoberfest when the fire will be dancing most of the evening. Very fast delivery, easy website. Only problem I had was getting the estimator to work with my iPad. It didn't. I think I have only a pound or two extra. Since we are on the patio most of the summer, it will be nice to see the copper glass shimmering. A very nice upgrade that add's some class to the firepit!

I thought I had chosen the equipment I would need to get a natural gas fireplace built and installed. I called to make sure and was connected to Erik. He corrected my choices and walked me through what I needed to order, sent me an estimate, and placed the order when I was ready. The 24" penta burner creates a lovely flame and looks great with the recycled coffee colored glass. Thank you, Erik!

I recently bought a LavaHeat Ember patio heater -- looks great with Higher heat BTU. I noticed after a couple weeks that the heat output seemed lower than I expected since it was supposed to be a 51,000 BTU heater -- much higher than the typical 36,000. I checked the compartment door and sure enough the label indicated 36K BTU. I personally called Lava Heat and they indicated that it was a mis-labeling and along with other excuses. I contacted Kim Woody, Customer Service at StarFire, and she handled the problem for me... very responsive, very persistent to get to resolution. She was able to get me a replacement burner. I believe she represents exactly how all Customer Service should be. THANK YOU KIM -- I am a very satisfied customer of StarFireDirect (I'm quite disappointed with lava Heat -- they could learn a lesson or two about customer service from Kim and/or StarFireDirect).
